Abstract: A horticultural lighting system and method for controlling same. Lights operating at different peak wavelengths, which affect the color of lights, can be optimized for different plant species during different stages of growth. The present disclosure pertains to a horticultural light, a system of horticultural lights, and a method for controlling light output to optimize different types of plants in various stages of plant growth cycles.
