Abstract: The invention describes a data transmission method for a multi-user. multipoint-to-multipoint digital data transmission system involving a plurality of users equipment (1) which are bidirectionally connected via physical medium (6). The method is intended to communicate one (1a) user to several (1b-1d) users equipment at different speeds, sending multiple frames, maintaining the bandwidth and maximum latency values required by each destination user (1b-1d). Further, this method consists in using the percentage reserve of the frame, providing a quality of service based on that required by the user equipment and supplying a criterion for dynamically assigning the packets sent to each user equipment in the frame, grouping or dividing them.

Abstract: The method is characterized by the management of traffic and resources in the source node (1) by means of ordered sets of cells, with dynamically adjustable qualities of service and different configurations of insertion and extraction of cells for the distribution of resources. It permits different qualities of service for each destination node (2, 3, 4, 5) of the information sent by any source node (1) to be guaranteed and the requisites of maximum permitted latencies of different communication applications to be complied with, being able to combine different types of service.

Abstract: Where the data sent to different users is stored and where each communication has an acknowledgement in transmission configured in which a release signal for the data sent is generated at the end of the transmission, or in reception in which confirmation is awaited of acknowledgement of the receiver prior to releasing the data. It is characterized by the distinction between the transmission and reception time, and by taking decisions to retransmit data or release it due to lack of acknowledgement in reception knowing that the user has had the opportunity to send the acknowledgement during the time assigned to the receiver.

Abstract: The invention relates to a data transmission method for a multi-user, multipoint-to-multipoint digital data transmission system involving a plurality of pieces of user equipment (1) which are bidirectionally connected via a physical means (6). The inventive method can be used to establish various communications from a piece of user equipment (1a) to different pieces of destination user equipment (1b-1d) at different speeds, while maintaining the bandwidth and maximum latency values required by each of the pieces of destination user equipment (1b-1d). Said method consists in sending multiple information frames (4) from a piece of equipment (1a) to a multitude of pieces of destination user equipment (1b-1d) at different speeds.
