    Abstract: Provided herein are methods of determining a treatment regimen for a subject with a mood disorder and methods of identifying a patient with a mood disorder as amenable to treatment with a calcium channel blocker (CCB).     Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided for determining a genotype associated with increased susceptibility to manic-depressive illness. The genotype is determined using markers for a region of chromosome 18 exhibiting linkage disequilibrium with manic-depressive illness. The invention also provides for a novel myo-inositol monophosphatase protein encoded for on chromosome 18.
