Abstract: A calorie counter that uses a voice command function to transition between various functional modes while maintaining the portability and aesthetic value as an accessory. Preprogrammed memory contained within the system pertains to reported nutritional information relating to specific food/beverage items and also dishes served at restaurants. This information may be ordered via voice command by the consumer, who then receives the information on a display screen and/or conventional synthesized voice and speaker function, before opting to record the number of calories or other nutritional item that was ingested. This recorded information is transferred to an electronic log where it can be reviewed at any time.
