  • Patent number: 10755173
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for deblurring images. A neural network is trained where the training includes selecting a central training image from a sequence of blurred images. An earlier training image and a later training image are selected based on the earlier training image preceding the central training image in the sequence and the later training image following the central training image in the sequence and based on proximity of the images to the central training image in the sequence. A training output image is generated by the neural network from the central training image, the earlier training image, and the later training image. Similarity is evaluated between the training output image and a reference image. The neural network is modified based on the evaluated similarity. The trained neural network is used to generate a deblurred output image from a blurry input image.

  • Patent number: 10430649
Abstract: Text region detection techniques and systems for digital images using image tag filtering are described. These techniques and systems support numerous advantages over conventional techniques through use of image tags to filter text region candidates. A computing device, for instance, may first generate text region candidates through use of a variety of different techniques, such as text line detection. The computing device then assigns image tags to the text region candidates. The assigned image tags are then used by the computing device to filter the text region candidates based on whether image tags assigned to respective candidates are indicative of text.

  • Publication number: 20190294018
Abstract: In one aspect, a method, system, and/or computer program product is described for generating a graphical user interface for providing information and controlling optically switchable windows connected by a network. Windows are graphically represented using interactive smart objects that are placed within views of the graphical user interface in a manner corresponding to their physical location. In another aspect, a method, system, and/or computer program product is described for associating network IDs of optically switchable windows with the locations at which the windows are installed. Window locations are determined by analyzing received wireless transmissions that are sent from transmitters associated with each of the optically switchable windows. The determined locations are then compared with a representation of the building that provides the window locations.

  • Patent number: 10386175
Abstract: A method is disclosed of measuring a hollow object such as a pipe including temporarily attaching to that object a reference target support such as a stencil that supports a plurality of scannable reference targets. When scanning the object with a movable scanner, most conveniently a hand-held scanner, the reference targets provide a positional reference for the scanner. A reference target support that is attachable to or movable along a hollow object has a display face presenting and supporting a plurality of scannable reference targets. The display face can stand up from a surface of the object or can lie against a surface of the object. The reference target support and the scanner can be movable together along a pipe as an internal inspection pig.
