  • Patent number: 10825220
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed that allow animators to easily share and reuse character poses such as gestures, expressions, and mouth shapes. When starting on a new shot, an animator often wants a character to have the same pose exactly as the end of the previous shot. According to various embodiments, an animator can easily set up these hookup poses by animator copying a pose directly from a clip of prerecorded media. In one aspect, a pose at the current playhead of the playback tool is copied into a software buffer of an animation tool and then pasted into a character. Thus, the animator may copy a pose exactly as he/she is seeing visually. In various aspects, animators can choose a pose from an entire inventory of available animated videos. This provides a more efficient method for selecting a pose since the user can easily choose and pick a pose from a large inventory of animated videos and bring in a desired pose in a matter of a few mouse clicks.

  • Patent number: 10602641
Abstract: A housing assembly has an insertion opening adapted for insertion of an electronic unit and includes a first housing, a second housing, a thermal pad, and a guide structure. The second housing is opposite to the first housing, a space is formed between the first housing and the second housing, and the space is in communication with the insertion opening. The thermal pad is disposed on one side of the first housing facing the second housing. The guide structure is disposed inside the space and is adapted to guide the electronic unit to move towards the first housing when the electronic unit is inserted into the space through the insertion opening and moves, so that the electronic unit comes into contact with the thermal pad.

  • Publication number: 20080091663
Abstract: A software-bundle for navigating on a data network on behalf of a user by proxy is provided. The software bundle comprises a browser application for navigating on the network; a set of functional programs for performing tasks; a set of APIs for integrating the functional programs to the browser application and a control application. The control application functions to operate the software bundle including, spawning, managing and terminating an instance of the browser application and monitoring behavior of the browser instance during a navigation sequence. The software-bundle functions as a fully automated navigation system capable of performing all of the functions of a manual navigation system controlled by a user having a data-input system for controlling the navigation system.

  • Patent number: 6929058
Abstract: The present invention discloses a cold plate with vortex generator for fluid going through defined an inlet and an outlet according to the flowing directions of the fluid, comprising: a base having a groove, one end of the groove is connected to the inlet and another end is connected to the outlet; a body installed on the base; at least one vortex generator mounted on a surface of the body toward the groove of the base, wherein two unparallel and symmetrical ribs form the vortex generator, one end of the unparallel ribs is a contraction end with a shorter gap, another end is an expansion end with a longer gap, coolant can pass through the gap between the ribs, due to each rib having a sharp portion, an appearance of the rib is a triangle geometric figure. The vortexes increase the liquid mixture and improve the heat transfer on the cold plate, but not cause much pressure drop, therefore the heat transfer of the entire system is more efficient.

  • Patent number: 6578627
Abstract: A new fin pattern of a ribbed vortex generator for use in an air conditioner or heat exchanger. It has multiple protruding turbulent prisms placed around a round tube on a radiation fin. Each protruding turbulent prism is strip rib-shaped 3D structure with one end higher and the other end lower. Each of the multiple protruding turbulent prisms is placed around the round tube at proper intervals, and oriented to the direction that fluid flows. The higher ends of a first pair of prisms are placed on the front end entrance of the round tube and the higher ends of a second pair of prisms are placed on the exit, which improves the heat transfer but causes little pressure drop-off.

  • Patent number: 6349761
Abstract: A fin-tube heat exchanger with a vortex generator is disclosed. The heat exchanger includes at least one heat transfer tube extending therethrough. A vortex generator is formed on the fin and includes a plurality of protuberance ribs projected from the fin and centralized with the heat transfer tube. An air flow inlet is defined between adjacent two of the protuberance ribs and an air flow outlet is defined between other adjacent two of the protuberance ribs. The air flow is guided from the air flow inlet, through channels defined between the vortex generator and the at least one heat transfer tube, and passes out of the air flow outlet, thereby speeding the air flow and promoting the heat transfer efficiency of a stagnation area behind the tube, and generating vortexes at the protuberance ribs and the air flow outlet for draining outer air into the surface for better air mixing and promoting the heat transfer efficiency of the fin.
