  • Patent number: 11934997
Abstract: The invention relates to the monitoring of products by means of active radio tags. According to the invention, packagings of products are provided with an active radio tag that detects at least one environmental condition and/or at least one packaging state, and which emits a signal at time intervals, which provides information about a unique identifier and at least one state in which the respective product is found. The signal is picked up by a receiver that extracts the unique identifier and the state information and transmits same together with location information to an external server.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 28, 2022
Date of Patent: March 19, 2024
    Assignee: BAYER AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT
Inventors: Christof Backhaus, Katharina Berger, Uwe Schenkel, Jürgen Schmidt, Walter Speth, Klaus Glismann, Eric Willms, Markus Storz, Arne Wendt, Gregory James Dibble

  • Patent number: 6221844
Abstract: The invention relates to novel peptides, namely texenomycins, from Scleroderma texense, a process for their preparation and their use as pharmaceuticals, in particular as antimycotics. The texenomycins according to the present invention are distinguished in particular by the amino acid sequence I in which FS is an oxo fatty acid radical, Aib is aminoisobutyric acid and Arg-ol=argininol.

  • Patent number: 5869001
Abstract: A method and apparatus for the quantitative analysis of sample liquids. A sample is dried and irradiated with visible and/or infrared light. Light that is diffusely or specularly reflected from the sample and sample carrier is detected. and analysed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 21, 1996
Date of Patent: February 9, 1999
    Assignee: Boehringer Mannheim GmbH
    Inventors: Juergen Backhaus, Reinhold Mischler
  • Patent number: 5734587
Abstract: A method of analyzing clinically relevant sample liquids and suspensions is such that where infrared spectra of dried samples are generated and evaluated using a multivariate evaluation procedure. In the evaluation procedure, the samples to be analyzed are assigned to classes. The evaluation procedure is trained with samples of known classes to adjust the parameters of the evaluation procedures such that samples of unknown classification can be assigned to known classes. In an advantageous manner, the infrared spectra can be generated by a transmittance measurement on a dried film of the sample.

    Assignee: Boehringer Mannheim GmbH
Inventors: Juergen Backhaus, Dirk Boecker, Reinhard Mischler
  • Patent number: 5605838
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for the quantitative analysis of sample liquids. A sample is dried and irradiated with visible and/or infrared light. Light that is diffusely or specularly reflected from the sample and sample carrier is detected and analysed. Furthermore the invention concerns a system for carrying out the method according to the invention and a sample carrier having a diffusely or specularly reflecting surface.
