  • Patent number: 5803534
Abstract: A passenger car body includes a top constructed as a roof which covers a passenger compartment above a belt line of the body. So that the occupants have particularly good viewing conditions while the venting of the passenger compartment is good, the removable top has roof frames which bound the side windows and between which--viewed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle--there extend several transparent roof sections.

  • Patent number: 5329997
Abstract: A heat exchanger (1) with at least one heat-exchange tube (11) which is held at the end in an end piece (3) such that the joint is liquid- and gas-tight. The end piece (3) has an opening for each tube to which it is connected, allowing the heat-exchange fluid to pass through from the tube (11) into a conduit box and in the opposite direction, a sleeve-like connection socket (8) being located in the region of each opening. The connection socket (8) comprises a cylindrical slot (9) coaxial to the opening and open at the heat-exchange tube end, forming an inner (14) and outer (15) annular wall. The end of the heat-exchange tube (11) is pushed into the slot. A section of the outer annular wall (15) adjacent to the heat-exchange block is longer than the corresponding section of the inner annular wall (14).

  • Patent number: 4739828
Abstract: Disclosed is a heat exchanger, comprising a tube sheet comprised of plastic and having at least one opening for passage of a heat exchange fluid; and a heat exchanger tube sealed against the tube sheet at the opening, wherein the tube sheet includes in the region of each of the openings a sleeve-like connection nozzle in which an annular groove is defined by inner and outer parts of said nozzle. The groove extends coaxially to the opening and is open toward the heat exchanger tube and the end of the heat exchanger tube is pressed into the groove. The sleeve-like connection nozzles have a middle section (B), which is located in the plane of the tube sheet, and end sections, (A, C) which project on either side of the tube sheet.

  • Patent number: 4724903
Abstract: Heat exchanger having a tube plate made of plastic, in which metallic tubes are fixed. The tube plate has elevations having openings for accommodating the tube ends, with the openings being subdivided into three sections in axial extension. The center section has the smallest cross-section and the end sections are in each case widened. The elevations extend on both sides of the tube plate, the total height of the elevations located in the area of an opening, inclusive of the tube plate thickness, being about 1.8 to 2.5 times the single tube plate thickness.
