  • Patent number: 10093279
Abstract: A wiper blade for cleaning vehicle windscreens includes a wiper rubber with groove-like holding fixtures formed in the longitudinal sides of the wiper rubber, in which spring strips are partially contained. The spring strips project laterally from the holding fixtures with their longitudinal sides, and having an adapter element consisting at least essentially of plastic for the at least indirect attachment of the wiper blade to a wiper arm. The adapter element exhibits groove-like guides which are disposed on the two longitudinal sides of the adapter element on sides facing one another, wherein the guides encompass the two spring strips on the sections of the spring strips projecting from the holding fixtures. The adapter element is connected to at least one separate reinforcing element which encompasses the spring strips on the sections of said spring strips projecting from the holding fixtures at least section-wise.

  • Patent number: 9421950
Abstract: The invention relates to a wiper blade (10) for the cleaning of vehicle windows, with a wiper blade body (12), which is able to be connected to a wiper arm (1) via preferably a wiper blade adapter (11) arranged approximately centrally on the wiper blade body (12), wherein the wiper blade body (12) has a wiper rubber (13) with a wiper lip (14), and wherein a receiving groove (16, 17) which is U-shaped in cross section is formed and in which a strip-shaped spring strip (18, 19) engages in the wiper rubber (13) on both longitudinal sides lying opposite each other. According to the invention, it is provided that the two spring strips (18, 19) are rigidly connected to each other by means of at least one reinforcing element (25), wherein the reinforcing element (25) engages over the wiper blade body (12) on the side facing away from the wiper lip (14) and is connected at least indirectly to the two spring strips (18, 19).

  • Patent number: 5647088
Abstract: A wiper which may be enhanced with a wind guide device in which the wiper has a support bracket system to accommodate and guide a wiper strip. Two subordinated brackets are positioned in a swivel bearing via a joint pin or joint bolt, resp., such that they may be rotated. The ends of the joint pin or the joint bolt, resp., project from the outside of the side walls of the primary bracket and form stop bars. The wind guide device is equipped with two mounting brackets which overreach the primary bracket in the range of the swivel bearing and may be attached reversibly on the stop bars while correspondingly designed recesses in the side walls of the mounting brackets accommodate the stop bars.
