  • Publication number: 20190005733
Abstract: A method comprises: capturing images of a movable object in a scene and tracking movement of the object in the scene based on the images, to produce movement parameters that define the movement; generating for display an extended reality (XR) visualization of the physical object in the scene and changing the XR visualization responsive to changing ones of the movement parameters, such that the XR visualization visually reflects the tracked movement; displaying the XR visualization; and converting the movement parameters to control messages configured to control one or more of sound and light, and transmitting the control messages.

  • Patent number: 6828026
Abstract: The invention relates to hollow balls having shells comprising a sintered inorganic material, such as metals, metal oxides or ceramic, and to methods for producing lightweight structural components using such hollow balls. According to the object of the invention, the application area is to be widened, processing to form structural components is to be made technologically simpler and the properties of the hollow balls and of the structural components produced therewith are to be improved for specific applications. For this purpose, an additional solid functional layer is formed on a shell on the hollow balls. The functional-layer material can then be made able to flow and plastically and/or elastically deformed as a result of a physical and/or chemical treatment.

Date of Patent: December 7, 2004
Assignees: Glatt Systemtechnik Dresden GmbH, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft Zur Foerderung der Angewandten Forschung E.V.

  • Publication number: 20030077473
Abstract: According to the invention, the shaped bodies are comprised of at least one heavy metal, preferably Fe, Ni, Co, Sn, Mo or W which can be reduced from a corresponding metallic compound at a temperature of less than 1 500° C. The shaped bodies have an outer diameter ranging from 0.05 to 0.5 mm, and a diameter-to-wall thickness ratio of 0.5 to 3%.

  • Patent number: 6449869
Abstract: Device and method for drying a pourable products. The device includes a rotor chamber in which a rotor is arranged with a vertical rotor axis. The rotor has a central horizontal surface and, at least in its radially outer third, a conical shell which is inclined to the axis of rotation by 20° to 70°, in such a way that the end face of the conical shell has the largest diameter and is located at the top. The conical shell has, at least partially, sheet-like gas passages in the form of perforations or screens. The method for drying pourable products provides for dry gas to be fed in a sheet like manner to the products to be dried during the radially peripheral circulation of the products without the products being swirled up and being exposed to unacceptable compressive, concussive and/or frictional loads.

  • Patent number: 4897278
Abstract: A process for manufacturing textured meat and fish products includes comminuting muscle flesh to subcellular particle sizes, mixing the comminuted muscle flesh with a texturing agent and texture regulator, freezing the mixture, heating the mixture to pasteurize or sterilize it, crimping the mixture to form a crinkled sheet of dough, folding the crinkled sheet of dough into laminated layers and freezing the folded laminated layers along a predetermined direction to form a desired fibrous structure. The texturing agent is a polyanionic complexing agent, preferably a pectin having a particular degree of esterification, and the texture regulator is one or a mixture of protein-rich products, starch-rich products, fats, and salts of polyvalent cations.
