  • Patent number: 11059350
Abstract: A vehicle includes an air conditioning unit, a first air duct, a second air duct, a recirculation duct, and a recirculation flap. The recirculation flap is closed in an air conditioning mode of the air conditioning unit, in which mode air which is heated or cooled by the air conditioning unit is to be discharged via the first and/or second vent into the occupant compartment of the vehicle, so that an air stream in the recirculation duct is blocked. The recirculation flap is open in a preconditioning mode, so that air which is heated or cooled by the air conditioning unit is circulated in a circuit which is formed at least by way of the air conditioning unit, the first air duct, the second air duct and the recirculation duct.

  • Patent number: 10840571
Abstract: A motor vehicle has a unit area which is arranged inside the motor vehicle body. The unit area has at least one air inlet and at least one air outlet. The unit area is divided into at least one cold area and at least one warm area which is isolated from the cold area by a separating wall. The warm area accommodates at least one unit emitting heat and the air emerging from the air outlet and entering into the air inlet flows through at least the warm area.

  • Patent number: 9751382
Abstract: A vehicle is provided with a heating device. The heating device includes an electrically driven heat source and a reflector configured to reflect heat radiation emitted by the heat source in the direction of a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The vehicle further includes a contact protection device which is permeable to radiation so that heat radiation reflected by the reflector or emitted by the heat source radiates into the passenger compartment. The heat source and the reflector are arranged on one side of the contact protection device, and the side is averted from the passenger compartment.
