  • Patent number: 10359017
Abstract: An electromagnetically actuable rate control valve for controlling a delivery rate of a high-pressure pump includes an electromagnet, a valve element, an armature shaft, and at least one strength element. The valve element is movable in an axial direction and is configured to open and to close the electromagnetically actuable rate control valve. The armature shaft transmits a force. The force is produced by the electromagnet and acts on the valve element in the axial direction. The at least one strength element is configured to raise at least the strength of the armature shaft. The armature shaft includes a needle region adjacent to the valve element and an armature region remote from the valve element. The needle region and the armature region are integral with each other.

  • Patent number: 9765898
Abstract: A valve device for switching or metering a fluid includes a housing, a flow channel defined by the housing, and a valve body arranged in the flow channel. The valve body has a sealing section which contacts a housing-side sealing seat when the valve device is closed. The sealing section at least slightly protrudes beyond a surface of the valve body facing the sealing seat.

  • Patent number: 9249893
Abstract: A valve device has a movement element, which is cylindrical at least in sections, and a guide element, which has a guide recess for guiding the movement element and is pressed into a valve housing. The guide element comprises a radially inner ring-like section and a radially outer ring-like section. The guide recess is arranged in the inner ring-like section. On its outer circumference, the outer ring-like section has a number of contact sections which are arranged distributed uniformly over the circumference and by means of which the outer ring-like section is pressed into the valve housing. The inner ring-like section is connected to the outer ring-like section via an identical number of connecting sections, which are arranged distributed uniformly in the circumferential direction, wherein, as viewed in the circumferential direction, the connecting sections are offset radially by an angle of 180 DEG/N in relation to the contact sections.

  • Patent number: 6679475
Abstract: A pressure control valve serves to regulate the fuel pressure in a fuel system. The pressure control valve includes a valve housing, at least one inlet, at least one outlet, and at least one prestressed, electrically actuatable, and at least regionally ball-shaped valve member. The valve member cooperates with a valve seat structurally connected to the housing. To make it possible to achieve stable closed- and/or open-loop control properties of the pressure control valve, it is proposed that the valve seat widen conically toward the valve member, and the ball diameter of the valve member is selected such that with the valve closed, the valve member touches the valve seat in the vicinity of its farther end.
