  • Patent number: 7269675
Abstract: A method and device for monitoring a bus system and bus system having at least two users, of which at least one is structured as an authorized user and monitors the data transmission on the bus system, an identifier being transmitted and the identifier being uniquely allocatable to one user for each data transmission on the bus system, the at least one authorized user comparing the identifier with a specified identifier, and if both identifiers are the same taking measures in order to prevent an execution of the data to be transmitted if the data transmission is initiated by a user other than the at least one authorized user.

  • Patent number: 7054722
Abstract: A device for reliably generating signals in a motor vehicle, having a control arrangement which is supplied at least one control signal, the control arrangement generating a trigger signal as a function of the control signal in order to trigger at least one switching element or driver. The control arrangement includes an emergency-operating arrangement which, in an emergency operation, generates the trigger signal as a function of at least the one control signal, a testing arrangement being provided, which tests the operativeness of the emergency-operating arrangement by selective triggering.

  • Patent number: 6815898
Abstract: A device for triggering a lighting device of a motor vehicle includes a control arrangement which generates at least one pulse width modulated control signal for at least one switching arrangement via which at least one lighting device may be supplied with electric power. The control arrangement receives a measure of the power supply voltage supplied at least to the lighting device in order to influence the control signal as a function of the power supply voltage. The control arrangement determines the control signal as a function of at least one additional operating parameter, in addition to the power supply voltage, of the motor vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20040039501
Abstract: Proposed is a device for reliably generating signals in a motor vehicle, having a control means (10), which is supplied at least one control signal (24, 26, 34, 36), the control means (10) generating a trigger signal (25, 27) signal as a function of the control signal (24, 26, 34, 36), in order to trigger at least one switching element (16, 18, 52, 53, 54) or driver; and having emergency-operating means (14, 28, 30, 67, 68, 69), which, in an emergency operation, generate the trigger signal (25, 27) as a function of at least the one control signal (24, 26, 34, 36); testing means (10, 12) being provided, which test the operativeness of the emergency-operating means (14, 28, 30, 67, 68, 69) by selectively triggering them.

  • Publication number: 20030168990
Abstract: A device for triggering a lighting device of a motor vehicle has a control arrangement (10) which generates at least one pulse width modulated control signal (16) for at least one switching means (18) via which at least one lighting device (20) may be supplied with electric power. The control arrangement (10) receives a measure of the power supply voltage (UB) supplied at least to the lighting device (20) in order to influence the control signal (16) as a function of the power supply voltage (UB). The control arrangement (10) determines the control signal (16) as a function of at least one additional operating parameter (v)—in addition to the power supply voltage (UB)—of the motor vehicle.
