  • Publication number: 20220227702
Abstract: This invention provides for synthesis of citrulline from a transition metal complex of ornithine using cyanate to derivatize the terminal amino group of ornithine. The invention also provides improved methods for purification of citrulline produced by reaction of cyanate with ornithine via the steps of reprecipitation of copper complex of citrulline, removal of the complexing metal by sulfide precipitation, activated carbon adsorption and antisolvent crystallization.

  • Patent number: 10215502
Abstract: A heat exchanger may include a block for separately conducting first and second fluids, and a box. The block may have flat tubes through which the first fluid is flowable and each of which may have a narrow tube side and a wide tube side. The box may have a base, the flat tubes being guided into the base via corresponding through-openings in the base. Each through-opening may have at least one raised edge, with at least one narrow edge side and at least one wide edge side, surrounding the corresponding flat tube. The wide edge side may be higher than the narrow edge side. The two may transition into one another via an inclination with a recess that may have a height lower than that of the narrow edge side. A contact surface edge may have a height lower at the recess than at the narrow edge side.

  • Patent number: 5215048
Abstract: A camshaft (16) is described for operating the primary and secondary inlet or exhaust valves (12) of an internal combustion engine having multiple valves in each cylinder, the camshaft having cams (18a, 18b) of substantially the same cam profile and phase for operating the primary and secondary valves of each cylinder. In accordance with the invention, in order to reduce valve train noise at least the trailing ramps of the cams (18a, 18b) are offset by between 1.degree. and 3.degree. relative to one another.

  • Patent number: 4721261
Abstract: An improved toroidal core attaching device for a winding device for toroidal coils including a receptacle sleeve held on a pivotable arm to receive the toroidal core, the core and receptacle being pivotable on the arm into the orbit of an annular wire magazine. The receptacle sleeve is open in a region of its generated surface which is directed to the center of the magazine in the winding position and the receptacle sleeve and toroidal core form a clamp therebetween for an end of the wire. The open region of the receptacle sleeve forms an access opening for the clamping area.

  • Patent number: 4305435
Abstract: A winding and cutting device for winding a wire on a connection pin of electrical components, and for the purpose of cutting off the excess remaining wire in one work cycle. A stationary sleeve is provided with a rotatable mandrel which has a central bore which is open at least in the direction of its one front face into which the pin is inserted during winding and which has, at least in the winding area, a diameter corresponding at least to the winding diameter. The sleeve and the mandrel have a slanted slot which is open at least in the direction of the one front face and which is aligned relative to the bore.
