  • Publication number: 20120204660
Abstract: A syringe for use with a dosing device with a receiver for a syringe cylinder and an axially displaceable plunger receiver for a syringe plunger with a syringe cylinder, which has a floor with an outlet on the bottom, a cylindrical plunger run area on the inside and has means for being held in the receiver on the top, a syringe plunger, which has a circumferential plunger seal for sealing on the plunger run area on the perimeter and a coupling piece for insertion into the plunger receiver on the top and stop means between the syringe cylinder and the syringe plunger, which restrict the displacement of the syringe plunger towards the floor so that the syringe plunger with the plunger seal can only approach to a certain distance from the floor.

  • Publication number: 20120164038
Abstract: A lidded container comprising a tubular container which at the bottom has a container base, at the top a container opening and below the container opening a sealing region on the internal wall, a lid which has a lid base and a plug protruding from the inside of the lid base, insertable through the container opening into a sealed position in the sealing region, a strap hinge connecting the container parts, lid and container, integrally together in a pivotable manner and a holding device having at least two engagement means, one being an axial engagement means fixedly connected to the container or lid, the other engagement means being configured on the longitudinal side of the strap hinge and the engagement means being able to be brought into engagement by pivoting the lid into the holding position, which is accompanied by a resilient compensation movement.

  • Publication number: 20110088493
Abstract: Syringe for use with a metering device comprising a centring element with an axial through-passage in a receiver for a syringe cylinder and an axially displaceable piston receiver for a syringe piston, comprising syringe cylinder syringe piston, the syringe cylinder comprising an outlet at the bottom, centring flange at the top on the external periphery for inserting into the receiver, cylindrical piston movement area connected to the outlet, with a first internal diameter, in which the syringe piston is sealingly guided, and at least at a distance of at least 3 mm from the upper end of the syringe cylinder a centring region for inserting the centring element, which has a second internal diameter, which exceeds the first internal diameter and is at least 16.2 mm, the syringe piston at the upper end has a coupling piece for inserting into the piston receiver.

  • Patent number: 6783025
Abstract: A lid type vessel of an elastic plastic material for laboratory use, specifically in the PCR procedure, comprising a tubular vessel which has a vessel bottom at one end and a vessel opening at the other end, a lid which has a lid bottom and has at least one hollow cylinder on one side of the lid bottom, which is adapted to be inserted into a sealing seat at the vessel inner wall through the vessel opening, and/or which is adapted to be placed onto the end of the vessel having the vessel opening and in a sealing seat on the vessel outer wall in the area of the axial portion, and at least one axial portion of the hollow cylinder or vessel in the area of the sealing seat by means of which the hollow cylinder or vessel is alternately subdivided into harder and softer segments in a circumferential direction.
