Abstract: A drive link for a sawchain is disclosed wherein the drive link has a top side which faces away from an opening plane defined by the respective axes of the rivet openings and extends at least partially at the drive link apex. A functional surface and a contact surface spaced apart from the functional surface are provided on the top side of the drive link. The functional surface is formed on the drive link apex and includes a section of the top side in which the top side is at a maximum spacing from the opening plane. The functional surface of the top side of the drive link is point-symmetric to a symmetry point with respect to the contact surface in the viewing direction toward the drive link plane.

Abstract: The invention relates to a card with a device for recognizing interfering particles, in particular trash parts, neps, shell neps, thick spots and/or foreign parts in a carded fibre web. The device comprises at least one sensor stationarily disposed in a web guiding element, which is disposed at the transition from a doffer to a stripper roll. The at least one sensor detects the fibre web on the doffer.

Abstract: A saw-tooth clothing for rollers and/or cylinders of flat cards or roller cards has a foot region and an adjoining tooth region (blade) in which teeth have been formed by cutting, with a tooth front a tooth back and two side flanks, wherein between the tooth back and the tooth front of two adjacent teeth there is a gullet and the teeth consist of at least two portions, with a first portion, forming a technologically effective region. In order to provide a clothing that retains a high level of aggressiveness over its lifetime, the first portion of the tooth front is convex or approximately convex in the direction of movement of the clothing.

Abstract: A fiber processing machine includes a roll having a circumferential surface provided with a first clothing having clothing points; a counter member having a surface provided with a second clothing cooperating with the first clothing and having clothing points; and a device for setting a clearance between the clothing points of the first and second clothings. The device includes an arrangement for approaching the roll and the counter member to one another until the clothing points of the first and second clothings contact and for moving away the roll and the counter member from one another until the clothing points of the first and second clothings assume a desired clearance. The device further has an arrangement for emitting a signal when the clothing points of the first and second clothings contact one another.
