  • Patent number: 11946469
Abstract: A screw spindle pump having a spindle housing in which a drive spindle and at least one running spindle meshing therewith are received in spindle bores, and an external housing which accommodates the spindle housing, an axial inlet connection and a radial outlet connection being provided on the external housing. The spindle housing has an axial fluid outlet for the fluid conveyed via the drive spindle and the running spindle through the spindle housing, as well as a drive motor having a drive shaft which runs through a bore in a housing wall, which axially closes the interior of the external housing, and which is coupled to the drive spindle. A part of the fluid flowing out of the fluid outlet of the spindle housing flows through the seal-free bore along the drive shaft into the drive motor, cools this drive motor and flows back into the external housing.

  • Patent number: 5592157
Abstract: A relative visibility measuring process measures and stores a reference propagation time of a measurement pulse over a reference distance between a pulse propagation time rangefinder and a reflector under ideal conditions. A reference amplitude of a measurement pulse, which is reflected by the reflector under ideal conditions, is measured and stored. An actual signal which is equal to the time response of the received signals of the rangefinder under actual conditions, is measured and stored. A determination is made of an actual amplitude which is equal to the amplitude of a time element of the actual signal having a propagation time equal to the reference propagation time. A determination is made of the ratio of the actual amplitude to the reference amplitude and comparison of the ratio with a threshold value which is dependent on the visibility to be determined.

  • Patent number: 5213293
Abstract: A stand for supporting an apparatus includes a main frame; a linkage parallelogram connected to the main frame; a first supporting arm connected to the linkage parallelogram; an energy storing element connected to the linkage parallelogram at a plurality of places; and a device for displacing the center of gravity of the apparatus. The displacing device includes a second supporting arm having a first non-vertical axis (A--A). The second supporting arm is rotatably connected to the first supporting arm and is connected to the apparatus by a connection point having a second non-vertical axis which is perpendicular to the first non-vertical axis. The displacing device displaces the center of gravity of the apparatus into a point of intersection of the first non-vertical axis and the second non-vertical axis.
