  • Publication number: 20240083202
Abstract: A method for operating a monitoring device for at least one vehicle parameter, in particular an air-pressure sensor for the tire-pressure vehicle parameter. The monitoring device is operated in a drive mode or in a stationary mode as a function of the velocity of the vehicle. Connection signals for the wireless connection to an external device, in particular a configuration device for the monitoring device, are transmitted in the stationary mode. Prior to the change to the stationary mode, the monitoring device is operated in a first intermediate mode. A passive search for wireless connection signals from the external device is carried out in the first intermediate mode.

  • Patent number: 10687654
Abstract: A method for operating an automatic beverage dispenser, such as a coffee machine provided with a control panel by using a mobile device with a communication unit. A communication link is automatically established between the beverage dispenser and the mobile device. A data set representing a user personalized recipe is transmitted from the mobile device to the coffee machine which temporarily stores the dataset. The personalized recipe is displayed as a selection option on the control panel of the beverage dispenser. Preparation of the beverage is triggered by selecting the desired personalized recipe in response to which a personalized beverage is dispensed by the beverage dispenser.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 7591258
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a control strategy for balancing injector-to-injector fueling variations for a combustion engine having multiple combustion chambers (and cylinders), with multiple individually actuated injectors for injecting fuel into the combustion chambers, wherein at least one injector is assigned to each combustion chamber and a common rail supplies fuel to the multiple injectors. The method includes changing the actuation waveform of an injector assigned to a combustion chamber having an exhaust gas temperature deviating by more than the predetermined value from the average exhaust gas temperature, in order to change the amount of fuel injected.

  • Patent number: 7428893
Abstract: An internal combustion engine is provided that includes a high pressure feed line, and a plurality of fuel injectors fluidly connected to the high pressure feed line, each being operable to inject a fuel into the engine. The engine further includes an electronically controlled flow disabler disposed between the high pressure feed line and each one of the fuel injectors. Each of the flow disablers includes an actuator operable to move a valve member toward a closed position at which the flow disabler blocks a fuel flow to the respective fuel injector.

  • Publication number: 20070289584
Abstract: In order to improve the performance of a common rail engine and reduce the number of false alarms by the exhaust gas temperature monitoring system, the present disclosure provides a control strategy for balancing injector-to-injector fueling variations for a combustion engine having multiple combustion chambers (and cylinders), with multiple individually actuated injectors for injecting fuel into the combustion chambers, wherein at least one injector is assigned to each combustion chamber and a common rail supplies fuel to the multiple injectors.
