  • Patent number: 9971783
Abstract: The invention relates to a data processing system including at least two disk emulators operating in parallel. Each of the at least two disk emulators emulates a disk subsystem and is associated with a respective file in a file system for any data stored on a physical disk. The data processing system further includes a de-duplicator for de-duplicating the data stored in the respective files associated with the at least two disk emulators. The de-duplicator operates in parallel to the disk emulators and is associated with an additional disk emulator emulating an additional disk subsystem. The additional disk emulator is associated with an additional file in a file system configured to store data shared between the respective disk subsystems emulated by the at least two disk emulators.

  • Publication number: 20140214776
Abstract: The invention relates to a data processing system, comprising at least two disk emulators operating in parallel and emulating a disk subsystem each, the disk emulators each using a file in a file system for any data stored on the respective disk, a separate de-duplicator for de-duplicating the data stored in the files, the de-duplicator operating in parallel to the disk emulators, the de-duplicator further using an additional disk emulator emulating an additional disk subsystem by using an additional file in a file system for storing data shared between the other disk subsystems.

  • Patent number: 6293133
Abstract: A method of rolling finished sections from preliminary sections by means of roll stand arrangements which operate in reversing operation and include a compact rolling group composed of a first universal stand at the entry side and a second universal stand at the exit side and an intermediate edging stand arranged between the universal stands, and a roughing group arranged in front of the compact rolling group and composed of vertical roll stands and horizontal roll stands and/or universal stands. A rectangular preliminary section or a preliminary section having the approximate final dimensions is preshaped in the roll stands of the roughing rolling group in a number of shape changing passes and/or shape reduction passes, possibly reversing with or without the use of selectable grooves. Subsequently, the section is further shaped in the compact rolling group in several shape changing passes or shape reduction passes in the universal stand on the entry side.

  • Patent number: 5871145
Abstract: A folding box for packing articles in which the folding box has a one-piece parallelepiped body. An insert for the articles and a compartment for a package leaflet is disposed in the body. The one-piece blank of the folding box is embodied such that the folding box can be produced with only a few folding operations. This is attained by a special disposition of an insert on a longitudinal gluing flap.
