  • Patent number: 11984550
Abstract: A device for manufacturing a cell stack having a plurality of cell assemblies. The device comprises several positioning units accommodating the plurality of cell assemblies. The positioning units each comprise a positioning jaw enclosing the plurality of cell assemblies disposed one above the other. The device further comprises a first moving unit moving the positioning unit. The first moving unit comprises a moving plate mounted in a movable manner and an actuator. The positioning units are disposed on the moving plate. The actuator moves the moving plate. The positioning units are arranged such that the individual cell assemblies are centered between the positioning jaws by the movement initiated by the first moving unit. Finally, the device comprises a support, which is decoupled from the movement of the first moving unit, wherein the plurality of cell assemblies and/or plies rest on the support.

  • Patent number: 7911314
Abstract: A electric circuit includes a connection to a current source, an electric load, and a thermal-mechanical fuse which, in the case of failure at an excessive heat emission, interrupts the current supply to the load, which is effectuated by a feeder in which is arranged a spring having two ends, at least one end is soldered to a solder point provided in the feed line. The one solder point is under a mechanical pretension caused by the restoring force of a spring, that separates the solder joint between the spring and the solder point in the feed line, when the solder melts at the solder point.

  • Patent number: 7659492
Abstract: A method for operating a device in which typically a very high current is generated when the device is turned on compared to the rated current, e.g. an analogue operated PTC heating device for a mobile device, such as a vehicle, is disclosed. In this method, the power on the device is increased in a defined limited manner or in a ramp-like manner in the connection phase to avoid a high current when the device is switched on.

  • Patent number: 6155337
Abstract: Described is a heat exchanger comprising a nest of heat-exchange tubes held between two end plates, the heat exchanger being designed for connection downstream of a thermal-cracking installation. In order to reduce erosion of the base plate, the plate at the input end is coated on the side facing the oncoming gas with an erosion-resistant, fireproof coating of a chemically bound compound, leaving clear the apertures for the heat-exchange tubes.
