  • Patent number: 8215855
Abstract: Provided is a device for the alignment of sheets in a printing machine, said device comprising two pairs of rollers for the alignment of the sheets in their advance direction, for the alignment transverse to their advance direction and with respect to skewing, whereby each pair of rollers consists of a driving roller and of a counter-pressure roller. One drive unit is provided for each of the two driving rollers, whereby each of the drive units consists of a motor and a drive shaft linked therewith, whereby the driving rollers are non-torsionally accommodated on respective drive shafts. The driving rollers can be slid in linear direction on their drive shaft, or the respective drive shafts, and thus the driving rollers accommodated thereon, can be linearly shifted with respect to their drive motors.

Abstract: Provided is a device (1) for the alignment of sheets in a printing machine, said device comprising two pairs of rollers for the alignment of the sheets in their advance direction, for the alignment transverse to their advance direction and with respect to skewing, whereby each pair of rollers consists of a driving roller (20a, 20b) and of a counter-pressure roller (22a, 22b). One drive unit (29, 32, 36, 38) is provided for each of the two driving rollers, whereby each of the drive units consists of a motor (38a, 38b) and a drive shaft (29a, 29b) linked therewith, whereby the driving rollers are non-torsionally accommodated on respective drive shafts. The driving rollers can be slid in linear direction on their drive shaft, or the respective drive shafts, and thus the driving rollers accommodated thereon, can be linearly shifted with respect to their drive motors.

  • Patent number: 6676123
Abstract: An aligning unit (8) for sheet like material (1), such sheet-like material being aligned by rotation elements (25), (34) with respect to the conveying direction (22) through a machine processing such sheet-like material (1) before the passage to a conveying plane (9). The sheet-like material (1) is contacted, on at least one side, by the rotation elements (25), (34). The rotation elements include segmented rollers respectively having a roller core (38), and a ring-shaped coating (35). The area of contact (36), (44) between the sheet-like material (1) and the segmented rollers (25) is minimized.

  • Patent number: 6663103
Abstract: The invention relates to a process and a device for alignment of sheet material (1) which is conveyed in one conveyor plane (9). The sheet material is conveyed on bodies (35) of revolution and aligned by means of triggerable alignment elements (25) in the conveyor direction (22) and perpendicular to the conveyor direction (22). The alignment elements (25) are assigned to an alignment unit (8). The alignment motion necessary for alignment of the sheet material in the conveyor direction (2) and perpendicular thereto takes placed by separate alignment elements (25) which can be triggered independently of one another during conveyance of the sheet material (1) with the process speed.

  • Patent number: 4199249
Abstract: Copies or duplicates are made from a suitable original such as a silver f or a diazofilm onto a further diazofilm by circulating the ammonia gas in a closed, evacuated circuit including the developing chamber. The ammonia gas is compressed in the developing chamber and expanded again as it is returned to a heatable supply chamber. The apparatus includes a closed circuit arrangement between the supply chamber and the developing chamber as well as an evacuating device connected to the developing chamber.
