  • Patent number: 9637027
Abstract: A device for locking a vehicle seat has a pawl which can be pivoted about a first pivot axis and, in a closed position, is in engagement with a positionally fixed fitting and, in an open position, is free from the fitting, wherein the pawl has a first clamping surface, furthermore a locking element for locking the pawl in the closed position, which locking element can be pivoted about a second pivot axis and has a second clamping surface which, in a locking position, bears against the first clamping surface and, in the process, keeps the pawl in the closed position, and, in an unlocking position, is free from the first clamping surface, and an actuating element which interacts with the locking element in order to transfer the locking element into the unlocking position.

  • Patent number: 9156381
Abstract: A device for locking a vehicle seat comprises a locking pawl which may be pivoted about a first pivot between a closed position in which it engages a fitting part and an open position free of the fitting part. A locking element pivots about a second pivot axis to lock the pawl in its closed position by engagement of a first bearing surface of the locking element with a second bearing surface of the locking pawl. The locking element may further be pivoted about a third pivot axis to move it into a clamping position in which the locking element comes to bear with a first bearing point against the second bearing surface and comes to bear with a second bearing point spaced apart from the first bearing point against a third bearing surface of the locking pawl.

  • Patent number: 6629710
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to an interlocking device and in more particular to an interlocking device with a rotary latch that receives a latching bolt. In operation, the rotary latch can swing out of a release position into a locked position, by means of the bolt engaging a coupling jaw of the rotary latch. When the rotary latch is in a locked position, a safety element in an arresting position prevents rotary latch from swinging into its release position.
