  • Publication number: 20230271715
Abstract: Measures for monitoring and manufacturing tanks for cryogenic liquids. The tank is manufactured in a way that signal and power lines from a control unit to sensors of the cryogenic tank are integrated with the tank walls. The conductive track structure so formed has a layer structure that uses the naturally occurring or artificially generated insulating layer on the tank wall material as a substrate on top of which conductive paths are formed that connect the sensors to the control unit.

  • Patent number: 11654621
Abstract: A method for producing a component is disclosed. In a first step, a planar component layer is produced on a base surface from a metal material which is above the melting temperature thereof. In a second step, shear stresses are introduced into the component layer produced in the first step by a friction pin which rotates about a rotation axis and which is pressed with a predetermined force onto an outer surface of the component layer opposite the base surface and which is moved along the entire outer surface of the component layer. Finally, in a third step, the first step is repeated on the outer surface as a base surface.

  • Patent number: 10118685
Abstract: A method of joining two panels of an airframe or fuselage structure of an aircraft or spacecraft, including: preparing an edge region of a first panel to form a first joining surface; preparing an edge region of a second panel to form a second joining surface; aligning the panels with one another such that the joining surfaces abut or interface one another forming a joint area; and joining the panels at the joining surfaces in the joint area. In an embodiment, the preparing steps include machining, and cutting, the edge regions of the first and second panels in a single operation to form the first and second joining surfaces substantially simultaneously. In another embodiment, the first and second joining surfaces are substantially planar and extend at an oblique angle with respect to a primary plane or surface of the respective first and second panels.
