  • Publication number: 20170196666
Abstract: Dental compositions and methods provide a flowable ceramic powder of a powdered component, wherein the compositions and methods comprise at least one dental glass, glass ceramics, metal oxide, mixed oxide selected from metal oxides and/or a mixture comprising at least two of said components, a printable dental ink. Moreover, the compositions and methods produce dental prosthetic form bodies.

  • Patent number: 6342302
Abstract: A ceramic restoration based on a leucitic glass-ceramic, which is characterized in that the glass-ceramic includes by way of components 40-95 wt.-% SiO2 5-25 wt.-% Al2O3 5-25 wt.-% K2O 0-25 wt.-% Na2O 0-20 wt.-% CaO 0-8 wt.-% B2O3 0-0.5 wt.-% P2O5 0-3 wt.-% F, in that it contains, as sole crystalline phase, leucite in a total proportion from 20 to 45 wt.-%, at least 80% of the theoretically producible quantity of leucite being present, and in that it exhibits a linear coefficient of thermal expansion &agr;(20-500° C.) from 12.5·10−6 to 15.5·10−6 K−1. This glass-ceramic is particularly suitable for processing as pressed ceramic and can be advantageously faced with dental ceramic that exhibits a linear coefficient of thermal expansion &agr;(20-500° C.) from 13.5·10−6 to 17.0·10−6 K−1.

  • Patent number: 5308391
Abstract: Ceramic masses with processing temperatures of approximately 770.degree. C. and coefficients of thermal expansion of 8-9.multidot.10.sup.-6 K.sup.-1 and 16-17.5.multidot.10.sup.-6 K.sup.-1 are required for dental prostheses consisting of low-melting gold alloys and titanium alloys for their veneering. Such ceramic masses are composed of 60 to 75% by weight SiO.sub.2, 4 to 15% by weight Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, 0.7 to 2.5% by weight B.sub.2 O.sub.3, 0 to 0.9% by weight Sb.sub.2 O.sub.3, 0 to 0.5% by weight CeO.sub.2, 0 to 2.5% by weight BaO, 0 to 0.5% by weight CaO, 7 to 12% by weight K.sub.2 O, 6 to 11% by weight Na.sub.2 O, 0.55 to 1.4% by weight Li.sub.2 O and 0.2 to 1.0% by weight F.sub.2.
