The shock generation circuitry comprises a first energy storage device, a second energy storage device and a switching device. The switching device is electrically connected to the first energy storage device, and is configured to connect, in a closed state, the first energy storage device with the second energy storage device, and to disconnect, in an open state, the first energy storage device from the second energy storage device. The shock generation circuitry configured to generate an output pulse by supplying energy to the output circuitry, in the open state, from the first energy storage device via a first connection line and, in the closed state, from the first energy storage device and the second energy storage device via a second connection line.

Abstract: A radial needle bearing unit for supporting a shaft, which has an outer sleeve with at least one radially inwardly directed rim, and a cage guiding hearing needles. For sealing purposes, a sealing element is disposed in an annular space delimited by the rim and the cage. The sealing element is an outwardly expanding sealing ring made of a polymer material resting radially outwardly against the inner lateral surface of the outer sleeve and radially inwardly against the lateral surface of the shaft, so that a radial/radial seal is formed. Abstract: The invention relates to a rechargeable battery with a battery housing having a rear wall with a recess which extends as far as an end wall of the battery housing and has a base side and narrow sides facing each other, the base side continuing via a step into the outer side of the rear wall, and a contact assembly which is covered by a cover extending from the step being positioned at the step. In order to further develop the battery so that when the battery is connected to an electrical appliance the contact assembly is protected against splash water, it is proposed, in accordance with the invention, that the cover form a contact housing which completely surrounds the contact assembly in circumferential direction and has on its side facing away from the step an insertion opening surrounded by a circumferential rim of the contact housing, which forms a sealing surface.

The software may also include an accounting control application capable of modifying the communication before sending it to another party by utilizing the communication application. The accounting control application may also be capable of tracking the status of the transaction. A method includes sharing financial services where a first party initiates a financial or accounting transaction and sends information related to that transaction through a communication channel to an accounting control module. The accounting control module modifies the information and tracks the status of the transaction. It then sends the modified information to a second party through the communication channel.

Abstract: The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with an electronic control unit and a dirt collecting container, which has a suction inlet and is in flow connection with a suction unit via a suction extraction line, the suction unit being connected to at least one air outlet via at least one air duct. To develop the vacuum cleaner in such a way that, in a structurally simple manner, the production of noise can be kept low and heat-sensitive components can be protected from being damaged, it is proposed according to the invention that at least one air duct is sealed off by means of a sound-insulating sealing mat which is produced from a flame-retardant material and covers the electrical control unit.

Abstract: A suspension strut used in a wheel suspension of an automotive vehicle, includes a shock absorber, a suspension strut bearing, and a coil spring at least partially coaxially surrounding the shock absorber and having one spring end supported by the shock absorber. The suspension strut bearing includes two plastic carrier elements, and a roller bearing positioned between the carrier elements. One carrier element is a guide ring connected to a vehicle body of the vehicle, and the other carrier element is a single-piece housing having incorporated therein plural hollow chambers in partial concentric surrounding relationship to the shock absorber and formed with a guide collar and a support surface for supporting the other end of the coil spring. The guide ring has a radially inner collar and a radially outer collar which together receive the roller bearing and extend at least beyond a midsection of the roller bearing.

Abstract: Residual oil from the processing of crude oil, natural bitumen or oil sand is mixed in a mixer with granular, hot coke as heat carrier (heat carrier coke) in a weight ratio of 1:3 to 1:30, where on the granules of the heat carrier coke there is first of all formed a liquid residue film which partly evaporates in the mixer. Gases and vapors and moist, sticky coke are withdrawn from the mixer. The mixture of coke and residual oil is introduced into a subsequently connected stirred tank in which the mixture slowly moves downwards while being stirred mechanically at a temperature of 450 to 600° C. and preferably at 480 to 550° C. Dry, flowable coke is withdrawn from the stirred tank. Usually, the dwell time of the heat carrier coke in the stirred tank is 1 to 30 minutes.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process of recovering monomeric esters of substituted or unsubstituted acrylic acid from polymer material having corresponding structural units by depolymerization by means of a fine-grained heat-transfer medium which is maintained above the depolymerization temperature of the polymer material. In a reactor, the polymer material is brought in contact with hot, mechanically fluidized heat-transfer medium. The resulting vapors are withdrawn and condensed, where the hot heat-transfer medium is continuously supplied at one end of the reactor, and cooled heat-transfer medium is discharged at the other end.

Abstract: High temperature flash distillation, for treating residual oils originating from crude oil refining, natural bitumen and/or tar sands, comprises feeding the oil to a mixer with granular hot coke, which serves as a thermal transfer medium. In mixing, 60-90% of the oil is vaporized. The non-vaporized fraction includes metal-containing asphaltenes. This fraction is further converted in the mixer, to oil vapor, gas and coke. Gases and vapor are withdrawn from the mixer, separately from the coke. The vapor phase is cooled and condensed to produce product oil. The gas itself is a further product. The coke is reheated and recycled to the mixer as the thermal transfer medium.

Abstract: A structure for supporting an obstacle, such as a so-called fence for use in equestrian show jumping, includes upright posts, each with a guide rail and a vertical row of holes in the guide rail. One or several obstacle support members are slidably adjustable up and down along the guide rails and arrestable in predetermined positions by a spring biased bolt which may be withdrawn manually from a hole for the adjustment movement. After adjustment the spring bias again urges the bolt into the respective hole.
