  • Publication number: 20220410235
Abstract: Sensors detect states of units of a plant for producing and/or treating a rolled product made of metal and transmit them to an automation system. The state signals (Z) are, in part, dimensional signals. The automation system determines, by taking into account the state signals (Z), control signal signals (S) for actuators associated with the units and actuates the actuators accordingly. The automation system includes at least one model-based system which models the behavior of the system and/or of the rolled product in real time. The automation system transmits the state signals (Z), the control signals (S) and/or signals derived therefrom at least in part via an open data network to a human-machine interface arranged at an operating location. The transmitted signals comprise at least one of the dimensional signals. The automation system takes specifications (V) from the human-machine interface in determining the control signals (S).

  • Patent number: 7243885
Abstract: A holding device for an adjustable housing, such as the housing of a radar sensor, which allows the position of the housing at a mounting location to be changed in at least one degree of freedom using least one adjusting screw. In this context, the at least one adjusting screw is held at the mounting location in a fixing dome so that it can be rotated and tilted, the respective fixing dome of plastic being capable of being snapped into a corresponding opening at the mounting location so that it is secured against rotation and pulling.

  • Patent number: 6322275
Abstract: A device for mounting a distance sensor, in particular a proximity radar device, on a motor vehicle, the distance sensor being accommodated in a closed housing, the housing being moveably attached to a support and the support being attachable in an immoveable manner to the motor vehicle. The device is characterized in that the housing is attachable to the support by at least three screws arranged in an L-shape relative to each other, that the screws, in the installed state of the distance sensor, are able to be screwed from its front side, and that a screw-out protection is provided for at least two of the screws.
