  • Publication number: 20230356435
Abstract: The application relates to a method and apparatus for producing a solid foam continuously. A homogeneous suspension is formed from a raw material in which the suspension comprises a solidifying agent, and a foam mixture which comprises bubbles is formed by mixing air bubbles into the suspension. The foam mixture is injected via at least one nozzle to form a foam pattern and the foam pattern is laid on a moving surface and the foam mixture of the foam pattern is solidified in order to form a solid foam such that the bubbles of the foam mixture shrink in off-length directions to form the shaped bubbles. Further, the application relates to the product and the use of the method.

  • Publication number: 20080126013
Abstract: The invention allows modifying a user's configuration of a remote on-line service application in accordance with accumulated physical activity data of the user. User's physical activity sensor data is accumulated in a mobile device from a physical activity sensor. In response to a predetermined event, physical activity information based on the accumulated physical activity sensor data is transferred from the mobile device to a networked computing device. The user's configuration of a remote on-line service application is then modified based on the transferred physical activity information.

  • Patent number: 5528645
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for the adjustment of imaging values in a panoramic x-ray imaging apparatus. The imaging device comprises a CCD detector which is manipulated in such a manner that the domains to be imaged in an examined object are the first to fall in line with a serial register included in the edge of the CCD detector. The measuring information received from the serial register is used as preliminary information about an intensity received on the image field and this information is used as a basis for the adjustment of imaging values for optimizing the signal-to-noise ratio of the CCD detector.
