  • Publication number: 20150377247
Abstract: A fan wheel including a first and second end plate, and blades arranged between the first and the second end plate and joined to the first and the second end plate. In order to obtain an efficient fan wheel the outer surfaces of the blades are inclined in relation to the rotation axis of the fan wheel, the first and second end plate have outer portions which protrude radially outward beyond the outer edges of the blades, the outer portion of the first end plate is generally curved or inclined towards the second end plate and the outer portion of the second end plate is generally curved or inclined away from the first end plate, and the blades are profiled to have a profile where the thickness of the blades vary between the outer edges of the blades and the inner edges of the blades.

  • Publication number: 20120172025
Abstract: An approach is provided for providing recommendations based on preloaded models. A recommendation model platform determines to cause, at least in part, preloading of a device with at least one user model, at least one item model, or a combination thereof. Then, the recommendation model platform determines to cause, at least in part, processing of the at least one user model, the at least one item model, or a combination thereof to generate at least one recommendation for: (a) the device, (b) at least one user of the device, or (c) a combination thereof.

  • Patent number: 7600974
Abstract: The present invention relates to a radial blade wheel (1) with blades (3), a first wall (2) connected with the blades and having an opening (4) for enabling a flow through the wall (2) to the blades (3), and a second wall (5) connected with the blades (3), by which the radial blade wheel (1) may be connected with an apparatus rotating it. To achieve a higher efficiency, the protrusion of the blades (3) in the radial direction diminishes at intervals from the first wall (2) towards the second wall (3).

  • Publication number: 20070002805
Abstract: An antenna pattern can be modified in a radio system including at least one user terminal and at least one base station. A user terminal and a base station communicate using at least two channels of different type with time slots of a time division multiple access method. The base station forms at least two different antenna patterns per each channel, the at least two antenna patterns of each channel differing from each other in a vertical direction during at least two different time slots.

  • Patent number: 6829312
Abstract: A procedure for the semi-blind separation and detection of digital co-channel signals, whereby after a simultaneous spatial-temporal equalization, iterative projections of the symbol vectors to be detected, in a vector subspace or a symbol alphabet &OHgr; of finite size are initialized making use of a network user identifier IDi. These projections are then used to adapt the symbol vectors Si to the vector subspace and to the symbol alphabet &OHgr; of finite size, making use of the method of least squares algorithm but performing only matrix multiplications without eigenvalue or singular decompositions.

  • Publication number: 20040235433
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining transmit diversity order and branches for a transmitter having at least two transmit diversity branches. The transmit diversity branches for use are determined based on estimated channel properties of transmit diversity branches. A network element and a radio transmitter, where transmit diversity branches are determined using estimated channel properties, are also discussed.
