    Abstract: The present invention provides a solution for facilitating text editing in a device. According to the solution of the present invention, a first editing region is provided displaying a plurality of inputted characters and a second editing region is provided, in which a subset of the inputted characters is displayed enlargedly for being edited on the basis of a language unit. When receiving an editing input to the second editing region, a joint update to corresponding characters in the second editing region and the first editing region is performed.
