  • Publication number: 20120133087
Abstract: The object of the invention is a method and an apparatus for manufacturing articles with the help of a mould. The solution according to the invention comprises a strong pressure-resistant frame (1) and also a pressurizing box (6) to be disposed in it, in which pressurizing box moulds of essentially thin structure can be surrounded with high pressures and temperatures. By utilizing high temperatures, post-treatment with an autoclave is avoided. With the solution according to the invention techniques known from plastic mould technology, which have been used e.g. in vacuum forming moulds and injection moulding moulds, are applied to articles and moulds to be manufactured with compression moulding technology.

  • Publication number: 20070053344
Abstract: A method of controlling an establishment of a multimedia call between at least two communication equipments, a corresponding system, and a corresponding communication equipment comprise a set up of a bearer connection resulting in a creation of a data transmission channel between at least two communication equipments. A data stream is transmitted between the at least two communication equipments after the creation of the data transmission channel for maintaining synchronization of the data transmission channel. Predefined information elements are introduced in the data stream, wherein the predefined information elements indicate local protocol settings for the multimedia call. The predefined information elements are recognized from the data stream, and parameters of an application protocol used for the multimedia call are adjusted on the basis of the predefined information elements.

  • Patent number: 6928299
Abstract: In a method for transmitting user identification data to a wireless communication device (1), user data is stored in a user data identification module (2). Upon initiating operation of the wireless communication device, the user data is examined to obtain access rights of the user of the wireless communication device. The user data is transmitted at least partly in a wireless manner from the user data identification module to the wireless communication device. The invention relates also to a user identification module having means (9) for storing user data and means (4, 6) for transmission of user data to a wireless communication device, and relates also to be wireless communication device (1). The wireless communication device includes means (5) for receiving user data and means (11) for examining the user data to obtain the access rights of the user of the wireless communication device. The data transmitting means (4) includes wireless communication means.

  • Patent number: 6434363
Abstract: It is possible to create a two channel data transfer system using an infrared link according to the invention. It is possible by utilizing it to transfer data between two terminal devices (10, 20, 50, 60) simultaneously to both directions (full duplex), or to establish a two-channel data transfer connection between two terminal devices (30, 40, 70, 80). An infrared link according to the invention is realized using linearly polarized infrared light (LV, LH). In it a data transfer channel formed using an infrared connection is divided into two separate channels using e.g. polarizers (V1, V2, H1, H2) or beam splitters (BS1, BS2). In this case, when data is transferred between two terminal devices (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80), the data transfer to one direction is realized e.g. using vertically polarized infrared light (LV), and correspondingly to the other direction using horizontally polarized infrared light (LH).

  • Patent number: 5835862
Abstract: A data adapter unit, for converting data signals for IR wireless transmission between electronic devices, containing an IR-electrical converter, and IR and electrical input/output ports, and accommodating a removably connectable device, such as a cellular phone, and a removably connectable data converter such as a PC or cellular data card. The phone, when mounted in the adapter unit, exchanges voice and data signals through an internal interface with the removable PC card which converts the data signals for exchange through either the IR or electrical input/output signal ports. The signal ports communicate the data signals to an external device such as a personal computer or a modem and return signals therefrom. When the electrical port is connected to an outside device, the normal IR transmission is ceased in favor of the electrical output, or this function may be achieved by a user operated switch.
