  • Patent number: 11790534
Abstract: The invention discloses an attention-based joint image and feature adaptive semantic segmentation method. First, the image adaptation procedure is used to transform the source domain image Xs to a target-domain-like image Xs-t with an appearance similar with the target domain image Xt, to reduce the domain gap between the source domain and the target domain at the image appearance level; then using the feature adaptation procedure to align the features between Xs-t and Xt in the semantic prediction space and the image generation space, respectively, to extract the domain-invariant features, to reduce the domain difference between Xs-t and Xt. In addition, the present invention introduces an attention module in the feature adaptation procedure to help the feature adaptation procedure pay more attention to image regions worthy of attention. Finally, combining the image adaptation procedure and the feature adaptation procedure in the end-to-end manner.

  • Patent number: 10181642
Abstract: A patch antenna is disclosed as including a rectangular patch and a rectangular ground plane parallel to and spaced apart from the patch by a sheet of dielectric material. The patch has a first longer side and a second longer side which are opposite to each other and a first shorter side and a second shorter side which are opposite to each other. A first row of vias is provided adjacent the first longer side of the patch, a second row of vias being provided adjacent the second longer side of the patch, a third row of vias being provided adjacent the first shorter side of the patch, and a fourth row of vias being provided adjacent the second shorter side of the patch. Each via extends through the patch, the sheet of dielectric material and the ground plane to short the antenna.

  • Publication number: 20150092311
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for providing protection of DC building electrical systems are disclosed. According to one aspect, a system for over-current protection of direct current (DC) building electrical systems includes a DC bus for providing DC power to a building and multiple DC feeder conductors for providing DC power to multiple locations within the building. Each DC feeder conductor is connected to the DC bus via a DC protection module having a fuse, a normally closed switch connected in parallel with the fuse, and a circuit breaker connected in series with the fuse and switch, where the switch is controllable to be closed to protect the fuse against transient current conditions and controllable to be open after the transient current conditions have subsided to allow the fuse to operate normally.
