    Abstract: This application provides a packet processing method and apparatus, a device, and a storage medium, and pertains to the field of communication technologies. In this application, a control identifier field is added to a packet, and the control identifier field indicates whether forwarding of the packet is allowed when the first network device does not configure the slice identifier on an outbound interface. The control identifier field and a slice identifier of a network slice are carried in the packet, so that the slice identifier and the control identifier field are transmitted on a network together. When a receive end does not configure the slice identifier on the outbound interface, the receive end can discard the packet based on the control identifier field, instead of forwarding the packet by using routing information.

The first flexible algorithm corresponds to a first network topology, the first network topology is a network topology in which the first network device is located, and the first routing information is used to send a packet to the second network device in the first network topology. One location identifier corresponds to a plurality of associated flexible algorithms, and routing information in different network topologies is generated based on different associated flexible algorithms.

    Abstract: The application discloses a packet transmission method, an apparatus, and a network device. In an embodiment, a first network device obtains identification information corresponding to a service flow, and reserves a forwarding resource based on the identification information. The forwarding resource is used by the first network device to forward the service flow to a second network device. The first network device further sends a packet including the identification information to the second network device, and the second network device reserves a corresponding forwarding resource based on the identification information in the packet. Network devices perform resource reservation hop by hop by sending the packet including the identification information, and do not need to perform resource reservation based on a transmission path that is pre-calculated and planned, so that load of the network device or a controller is reduced, and resource reservation flexibility is improved.
