  • Publication number: 20150334305
Abstract: A displaying method for an electronic device is provided. The electronic device comprises a storage device storing at least a photo group and a sharpness look-up table. The photo group includes a plurality of photos of an object successively captured in different focuses and the sharpness look-up table records sharpness information of each of the photos. The displaying method comprises displaying a cover photo of the photo group and receiving a selecting signal indicating a position on the cover photo. According to the position, the sharpness information of each photo in the sharpness look-up table is checked to determine a photo to be displayed, wherein the sharpness information of the determined photo shows a sharpness score at the position of the determined photo is the maximum among the sharpness scores at the positions of the photos in the photo group. The determined photo of the object is displayed.

  • Patent number: 8561188
Abstract: Detection and prevention of botnet behavior is accomplished by monitoring access request in a network. Each request includes a domain of content to access and a path of content to access, and each path includes a file name and query string. Once obtained, the query strings for each of these requests are normalized. A signature is then created for each of the normalized query strings. The obtained requests can then be grouped by signature. Once the requests have been grouped by signature, each grouping is examined to identify suspicious signatures based on common botnet behavior. Suspicious requests are used in back-end and front-end defenses against botnets.

  • Patent number: 7782880
Abstract: A peer to peer network, a method, a computer program product for a new node joining the network and a computer readable medium are disclosed. The peer to peer network comprises a plurality of nodes and a new node. Each of the nodes has its own partner list. Each of the partner lists records nodes that are able to provide data to the owner of the partner list. The nodes recorded in the partner list are called the partners of the owner of the partner list. When the new node intends to join the network, each of the nodes of the network decides whether to accept the new node according to the number of its partners but not according to a random manner. The stability of the network can be enhanced and the load of the network can be balanced.

  • Publication number: 20100049864
Abstract: A multimedia broadcast system and method supporting peer-to-peer (P2P) coordinated code conversion are provided. The method includes forming, by a data source device, one or more data segments from multimedia data, and then scattering the data segments to a P2P network formed by the viewers; wherein an individual P2P device is connected with one or more P2P devices via a network system to form a partner group, and then acquires code conversion degrees of each data segment to serve as a basis for strategically adjusting the coordinated code conversion of said multimedia data. The coordinated code conversion mechanism is supported by common P2P multimedia broadcast systems, and is capable of rapidly converting the multimedia data in one format into multimedia data in other different media formats, thereby enabling real-time broadcasting of data in different formats to clients using P2P networks of various specifications.
