  • Patent number: 9313909
Abstract: An alignment device of a hard disk drive (HDD) bay has a casing, at least one door, and at least one alignment mechanism. The at least one door is mounted on a front sidewall of the casing. The at least one alignment mechanism is mounted on a rear sidewall of the casing. Each of the at least one alignment mechanism has a stationary seat, and an aligning panel and a torsion spring pivotally mounted on the stationary seat. The torsion spring pushes the aligning panel to pivot toward a lateral sidewall of the casing. When inserting an HDD into the casing and the HDD abuts against the aligning panel, the aligning panel pushes the HDD to slide laterally and align with the connector on the rear sidewall of the casing. Thus, pins on a rear end of the HDD can accurately plug into corresponding holes of the connector.

  • Patent number: 8369080
Abstract: A removable hard disk drive (HDD) bay has a casing, a door assembly and an extracting assembly. The door assembly has a pivoting member, a cover slidably mounted on the pivoting member, a retainer slidably mounted in the cover and selectively hooking the casing, and a driving member driving the retainer. The extracting assembly pivotally connects the door assembly to the casing. When the door assembly is opened relative to the casing, the extracting assembly extracts the HDD (AA) with a simple mechanism and the door assembly does not occupy any room in the casing. The casing does not have to reserve a room for the door assembly and a volume of the removable HDD bay is efficiently minimized.

  • Patent number: 7778017
Abstract: A clamp-type hard disk (hard disk) mount includes a base having a hard disk contact surface; two clamping arms pivotally connected at rear ends to two fulcrums provided in and near two lateral ends of the base; and two restoring elements disposed in the base. The two clamping arms respectively have an extension section rearward extended beyond the two fulcrums. Two short rods are separately provided near front ends of the two clamping arms corresponding to two retaining hole provided on two lateral sides of a hard disk. The restoring elements normally push the extension sections of the clamping arms outward, so that the two clamping arms automatically clamp on the two lateral sides of a hard disk installed on the clamp-type hard disk mount.

  • Publication number: 20090296277
Abstract: A hard disk drive (HDD) docking station includes a housing having a push-plate opening; a HDD support provided in the housing for supporting a HDD therein; a plate member mounted near a bottom in the housing and connected at a first edge to a fulcrum; a mating connector seat connected to the plate member for engaging with a connector provided on the HDD; a restoring spring normally pushing the plate member upward; a pivot shaft turnably connecting a supporting member to a second edge of the plate member opposite to the fulcrum; and a push plate extended from the second edge of the plate member to partially project from the push-plate opening. When the push plate is downward pushed, the plate member is caused to pivotally turn downward about the fulcrum, so that the mating connector seat is also moved downward to separate from the HDD connector.

  • Patent number: 7340071
Abstract: Headphones with a multichannel guiding mechanism having different channel speakers positioned within each of earphones and separate sound-guiding chambers for receiving the different channel speakers. In taking the acoustics into account, the separate sound chambers are installed within the earphones according to the sound effect of different channel speakers. An inner and an outer tube are installed within the first sound chamber. The inner tube defines a treble area in the middle of the front main speaker while the outer tube defines a bass area around the treble area whereby the first sound chamber has a tube-in-tube configuration. Accordingly, a clear positioning of the acoustic field is achieved by different installation position of the speakers within the earphones. In addition, the interference of sound waves is avoided and the reproduction of original sound is achieved.

  • Publication number: 20030103637
Abstract: The present invention relates to a headphone with two ear cups each of which includes a loudspeaker or a plurality of multichannel speakers. Each speaker has its own individual sound chamber. In accordance with the feature of the speakers, they are installed at the front or rear sides of the individual sound chambers. Accordingly, each speaker is arranged inside the ear cup at different places or angles, thereby creating a clear sound field, protecting against the mixture of the sound waves and reducing the distortion. Beside, a well-distributed sound pressure is formed inside each individual sound chamber. Again, the surround sound effect is enhanced to achieve the original sound quality with high fidelity.

  • Patent number: 6394852
Abstract: The present invention relates to a multichannel phone plug which is constructed as a shaftlike male terminal at the front part thereof and is pluggable in a phone jack for an electric connection. The male terminal contains six or seven pole sockets which are combined in a body by insertion from the front to the rear. An insulting piece is mounted between every two pole sockets. Each of the pole sockets is connected to a sound signal cable at the end thereof, respectively. A handle whose diameter is greater than that of the male terminal is fitted to the end of the male terminal. The sound signal cable in connection with the sockets extends from the end of the handle for a certain length in order that the end thereof is connected to a multichannel speaker. Accordingly, the multichannel phone plug in accordance with the present invention is convenient in use, and one single plug can transmit five or six sound signals.
