Abstract: A physiological monitoring system using a Bluetooth low energy mesh network is provided. The physiological monitoring system includes a main control device and plural physiological detection devices. The main control device broadcasts a measurement command signal through the Bluetooth low energy mesh network. After the measurement command signal is received by the plural physiological detection devices, physiological data signals of corresponding subjects are generated and externally broadcasted through the Bluetooth low energy mesh network. After the physiological data signals are received by the main control device, medical record tables corresponding to the subject are generated.

  • Publication number: 20130100169
Abstract: An input device includes a motion sensor for sensing a first axis value, a distance sensor for sensing a limb distance between two limbs, and a controller. The controller is used to perform a method for controlling zooming of an object. The method includes using the motion sensor to sense the first axis value; and initiating a zooming program when the first axis value meets an initiating condition. The zooming program includes the following steps of using the distance sensor to sense the limb distance between two limbs, comparing the limb distance with a reference value; and based on a comparison result outputting a zooming control signal to zooming of an object.

  • Publication number: 20090095622
Abstract: A biosensor is a sensor strip that is folded to form a base and a cover. The base has a reactive layer, two electrodes, a compensating electrode and a variable resistive pad. The reactive layer is formed on the base. The electrodes are formed on the base and connect to the reactive layer to an end of the base. The compensating electrode is formed between the electrodes and is connected to one electrode by the variable resistive pad having an adjustable resistivity to account for manufacturing errors. The cover is shorter than and adhered to the base and has a sample-dropping section corresponding to the reactive layer to allow a liquid sample to be added to the reactive layer. Operators insert the biosensor into the biosensor detector and obtain a correct result without calibrating the biosensor detector so preventing human calibration errors.

  • Patent number: 5657051
Abstract: A multidimensional mouse of computers includes a Z-axis key pivotally connected to the mouse by a pivot and defines two ends spaced from each other by the pivot. Two elastic loads respectively installed inside the mouse and a corresponding one of the two elastic loads is deformed in response to a manual depression on one of the two ends of the Z-axis key, thus allowing an electrical contact to occur inside the mouse, and this electrical contact is retained if the manual depression is retained. The deformed elastic load has a tension to recover the Z-axis key back to a non-depressed position after the manual depression on the Z-axis key is released. A displacement of a cursor along a Z-axis on a computer screen is based on a time period during which the end of the Z-axis key is kept depressed.
