  • Publication number: 20120063855
Abstract: Provided is a method for manufacturing geological gradation layer featuring disaster prevention and ecologic function, which uses on-site earth or gradation materials commonly adopted in road construction, including aggregates, soils, gravels, or a mixture of water permeable concrete, and most importantly, added with uniquely arranged hollow bodies, all constituents being mixed and laid on soil stratum, and subjected to ramming, to form an ecological gradation layer. The ecological gradation layer provides an effect of supporting and also provides the functions of water storage, water preservation, and improving earth, whereby earth microorganisms and earth protozoa may establish a beneficial survival environment in earth, making the gradation layer exhibiting the characteristics of high water content and prompting breeding of microorganisms.

  • Publication number: 20120045279
Abstract: A water-permeable and water-absorbable ecological paving is formed of a water-permeable material that is commonly used in pavement construction and is mixed with unique hollow bodies, whereby all constituent components of the engineering material are uniformly mixed and laid to form an ecological paving layer. In addition to the water permeability of the base material, the paving layer also provide the functions of absorbing water, storing water, and retaining water, so as to reduce the likelihood of occurrence of water accumulation on the surface flooding and also to allow water to be greatly retained in the interior of the paving layer, whereby water vapor can be released from the interior to alleviate heat island effect in case of high temperature of the atmosphere.

  • Publication number: 20110231850
Abstract: Block-based transmission scheduling methods and systems are provided. First, a plurality of packets corresponding to at least one data flow is received. The packets of the data flow are accumulated to form a data block. Then, the data block of the data flow is scheduled and transmitted according to a transmission scheduling algorithm based on the unit of block. In some embodiments, when the length of the accumulated data block equals to or is greater than a predefined or dynamically calculated block length threshold, the data block is scheduled and transmitted according to the transmission scheduling algorithm. In some embodiments, when current time is equal to a specific time point derived from a dynamically calculated or a fixed time duration, the data block is scheduled and transmitted according to the transmission scheduling algorithm.

  • Publication number: 20070111631
Abstract: A recreation facility with multiphase combination is composed of a combination member connected to a connection member. A rectangle fastening portion is extended from an end of the combination member. The rectangle fastening portion has two first planes and two second plane which are vertical to the first plane. The connection member has a first concave trough and a second concave trough. The width of the first concave trough corresponds to the first plane. The depth of the first concave trough corresponds to the second plane. The width of the second concave trough corresponds to the second plane. The depth of the second concave trough corresponds to the first plane. Any plane of the combination member can be reversed to be hooked into concave troughs to obtain various combinations. The advantages include fewer assembly parts and small disposition space. Costs and spaces are then saved to increase recreations for children.

  • Patent number: 7198432
Abstract: A water resource recycling system includes an environmental permeable flooring which allows the rain on the ground be accumulated and quickly permeate into the underground. A vertical overflow duct is drilled deep into the permeable stratum under the ground to further draw the rain through the impermeable (clay) stratum to the deeper groundwater stratum. A plurality of water reservoirs pre-buried under the ground nearby the vertical overflow duct are connected to the vertical overflow duct, thereby as the rain permeated from the ground surface to the vertical overflow duct becomes saturated, the rain will flow to the water reservoirs of different size. Each water reservoir is connected to a water-drawing pipe extended to the ground surface such that the rain can be completely absorbed and stored by the earth for preventing heat island effect.

  • Publication number: 20060210358
Abstract: A constructive water resource recycling method is characterized in that great-sized water reservoirs, each of which has a drainpipe provided above for connecting to the ground surface, are buried in the underground soil; deep drainage trenches are selectively provided under the macadam stratum; the side walls of the deep drainage trenches have water inlets such that the rain can be led down to the soil via drainage bands, while trenches are covered by trench covers; the water contained in the water reservoirs can be drawn by water-drawing pipes to the ground surface for further utilization through a water pump of natural power; the great-sized water reservoirs are covered by soil and macadam stratum, and then an instantly permeable layer which is composed of macadam, pebbles or sand; finally, the instantly permeable layer is covered a concrete pavement and then drilled through to complete a constructive permeable pavement, thereby efficiently recycling the rain for fully utilization.

  • Patent number: 6962463
Abstract: A method of constructing an environmental and water-permeable paving, which includes the steps of connecting a plurality of frame units composed of water ducts and connecting meshes to form a great area of framework; burying the frame units into the soil, above the macadam stratum; pouring concrete onto the frame units and having the concrete solidified to form a concrete board; and applying a asphalt and macadam stratum onto the concrete board or other paving to complete a water and air permeable paving. Drainage belts are provided under the water ducts in predetermined positions, such that the accumulated rain can be led to the underground and collected in the reservoirs. Concluded above, the paving constructed according to the invention is an environmental and water-permeable paving, which can automatically regulate the temperature of the roadways, as well as the temperature and humidity of the environment.

  • Patent number: 6962464
Abstract: An environmental water resource recycling system of the invention comprises pluralities of drainpipes units, which includes pluralities of drainpipes engaged in pluralities of holder holes formed by coupled frame strips, and sealing lids covering the opening at one end of the drainpipes. An instant water-absorbing sand layer is applied on the soil layer exposed on the ground surface before inserting the lower end of the drainpipes held in the drainpipe unit into the sand layer. Concrete is poured onto the ground to be constructed such that the concrete can integrally cover the drainpipe units. The sealing lids can be removed from the openings on the upper end of the drainpipes after the concrete is solidified, thereby accomplishing a permeable paving and instantly draining the rain on the permeable paving to the sand layer and further to the underground for being recycled as water resource for further utilization.

  • Patent number: 6817811
Abstract: A construction for environmental protection in respect of water source and earth, including combining water ducts, planting cases, connecting meshes and lower moldboards to form framework for paving the hillsides. The end of the water duct is buried in the soil, whereas the frames can connect with each other and be hammered along with earth anchors into the rock walls for fastening purposes. Frames can be covered by mold panels and padded by moldboards to be fastened to the hillsides before grouting with liquid concrete to form hard walls. In the case of trench walls, hillsides, or any ramp, planting cases containing soil can be used for weeds to grow naturally, in order to prevent mudflow and landslide, create a beautiful greening landscape, and maintain the environment protection, as well as reduce the greenhouse effect.

  • Patent number: 6779773
Abstract: An impression mold includes a main body and a detachable segment. The main body has an obverse bearing a first intaglioed pattern, and is formed with an opening defined in the obverse thereof. The segment has an obverse bearing a second intaglioed pattern and has a shape complementary to the opening of the main body. Therefore, a complete pattern is formed by the two intaglioed patterns when the segment is fitted in the opening of the main body.
