  • Publication number: 20060267760
Abstract: A child safety alarm device has a main housing that protectively contains electronics, a battery power source, a digital display clock and an audible alarm. When activated, the alarm generates a loud audible signal that preferably includes a repeating voice message combined with an intermittent shrill noise in the audible range of between 80 to 100 decibels. A flexible band, constructed of materials that resist cutting, extends from the main housing and wraps around a child's wrist or ankle. An electronic locking mechanism, powered by the battery source, locks the band closed to prevent unauthorized removal of the device from the child. The audible alarm signal is activated by depressing a panic button on the main housing, concealed below a protective cover, or, alternatively, with the use of a wireless remote control device carried by a parent or guardian.

  • Publication number: 20020090423
Abstract: A candy lollipop head is attached to a wrist band which is worn in the manner of a conventional wrist watch. The wrist pop has one or more candies mounted on it to allow a child to play with the candy before, or during, its consumption. One alternative embodiment provides for a candies shaped in specific forms, such as cartoon characters, or shaped in the form of a device such as a wrist watch face. Another alternative embodiment uses a lollipop head which is attached to a reusable wrist band. A further embodiment uses a disposable wrist pop. An alternative disposable embodiment provides for disposable brackets which are secured to a lollipop head and are then slidably mounted on a reusable wrist band. The wrist band can be fabricated from flexible conventional wrist band's, similar to those used on watches, or wrist band's which are fabricated from snap bracelets.

  • Patent number: 5681200
Abstract: A toy telephone which has an integral lollipop holder. The toy telephone has a voice recorder which can be used by a child to record and play back messages for amusement. A lollipop is removably attached to a retractable slide which extends the lollipop for consumption and retracts the lollipop into the toy telephone for storage. During storage, the lollipop is enclosed within the telephone to prevent the lollipop from being contaminated. The lollipop is optionally formed in the shape of an antenna. The data keys of the telephone can be optionally illuminated to simulate a real telephone. The audio data and record function can be replaced or used in conjunction with a radio. Optionally, preselected sounds can be stored such as telephone tone dialing sounds or telephone ringing sounds.

  • Patent number: 5615941
Abstract: A dual lollipop holder and storage device which has a lollipop compartment at both ends. Lollipop sticks are removably attached to retractable securing attachments which extend the lollipops from opposite ends of the holder. End caps allow the lollipops to be sealed within the lollipop holder when the lollipops are in the retracted position. The retractable securing attachments can optionally be spring loaded to extend the lollipop automatically. An optional integral lighting mechanism illuminates the lollipop holder for the user's amusement. The lighting mechanism can be implemented by conventional battery operated lamps such as LEDs or by electroluminescent (EL) lamps. EL lamps can be used to form a substantial part of the outer shell to maximize the illumination effect.
