    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate generally to methods and compositions for producing human prolactin antagonists. Embodiments of the present invention also relate to various methods for improved production of human prolactin antagonists by microorganisms. These microorganisms, including Escherichia coli, can be transformed to enable the expression of human prolactin antagonists at high levels using conventional and inexpensive fermentation conditions and inexpensive induction conditions, as described herein.
