  • Patent number: 10577488
Abstract: A vulcanizate of a rubber mixture for a vehicle tire, the rubber mixture containing at least one filler and 10 to 100 phr of at least one polymer A of the following formula: PS—R1—S—R2)n where S is a sulfur atom, and P is a polymer chain which is obtainable by anionic polymerization of at least one conjugated diene and optionally one or more vinylaromatic compounds and which has optionally been chain end-modified, R1 is most preferably C1-C8-alkyl, R2 is preferably selected from H and —SiR3R4R5 in which R3, R4 and R5 are independently selected from H, C1-C16-alkyl, C6-C16-aryl and C7-C16-aralkyl, and n is an integer selected from 1 to 200, where the —S—R1—S—R2 group(s) are bonded to the backbone of the polymer chain P.

  • Patent number: 9701809
Abstract: A rubber mixture for vehicle tires which exhibits improved rolling resistance behavior and improved wear properties. The rubber mixture includes: 5 to 100 phr of at least one polymer A of the formula I): 1) F-(P-Y-P-Sx)z-P-Y-P-F, wherein S is sulfur, P is an elastomer polymer chain obtained by the anionic polymerization of a conjugated diene and, optionally, a vinyl aromatic compound in the presence of a diinitiator, Y is a dicarbanion group derived from the diinitiator, x is an integer greater than or equal to 1 independently for each Sx group, on the condition that x is selected from the numbers 2, 3, and 4 for at least one Sx group, z is an integer from 1 to 160, each F is a terminal group independently selected from —H, —SH, —SOH, —SCl, —SO2H and —SO3H, and at least one filler.

  • Publication number: 20060041207
Abstract: The Electrical Heat and Vibrating Device is a lightweight, portable, completely self-contained low voltage, and self-administered therapeutic apparatus. More particularly, this invention gives the wearer or user comforting sensations to facilitate a temporary reduction in joint stiffness, joint pain, and joint discomfort, within the human body.

  • Publication number: 20040087881
Abstract: The Electrical Heat And Vibrating Glove is a fully leather enclosed glove which combines the application of both gentle heat and gentle massage to give the wearer or user comforting sensations to facilitate a reduction in hand stiffness, joint pain and discomfort in the below-wrist area. Configured in left and right hand versions, the glove operates on electricity obtained from conventional wall sockets(heating element) and a 2-AA battery powered massage motor. Additionally, the glove has a portability feature in that the heating element can be alternately powered by a 16 volt transformer. The heat is manually regulated by a top-side heat control dial, and the strength of the massage sensation is governed by the 2-speed battery-powered massage motor. The glove is open at the fingertips so that redness and skin irritation is easily detectible; this also adds a sporty look to the glove.
