    Abstract: Methods, systems, and software are described of game-based simulations for students (such as soldiers) to practice conducting bilateral engagements in a cultural context. An embodiment provides students with the experience of preparing for and including familiarization with cultural context, gathering intelligence, conducting a meeting and negotiating when possible, and following up on agreements as appropriate. Embodiments enable the use of characters, scenario customization, as well as coaching, feedback and tutoring.
