Abstract: An electrical switching device is disclosed, including an arc extinguishing apparatus with an extinguishing chamber, a blow-out channel connected to the extinguishing chamber for blowing out plasma and/or gas produced in the extinguishing chamber from the electrical switching device and a terminal apparatus for connecting an electrical conductor to the electrical switching device, the terminal apparatus including a metal part which is electrically conductively connected at a first end to the electrical switching device and which, at its second end, includes a terminal fixing for connecting the electrical conductor, with which the metal part of the terminal apparatus is guidable out of the electrical switching device through the blow-out channel.
