Abstract: The disclosure relates to a roller crusher having two generally parallel rollers arranged to rotate in opposite directions, and separated by a gap, wherein at least one of the rollers has a flange at an end thereof, wherein the roller crusher further comprises a material removal device, comprising: a rotatable cutter unit having a plurality of cutter elements arranged tangentially about the rotatable cutter unit; and a rotation device arranged to rotate the rotatable cutter unit, wherein the rotatable cutter unit is arranged at an end of a roller having a flange and thereby, when being rotated by the rotation device, at least partially allow cutting away material accumulated on the flange and/or on the envelope surface at an end portion of the roller adjacent the flange.
