  • Publication number: 20220370986
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the heterogeneous catalysis of a reaction for the hydrogenation of a carbon oxide in the gaseous state, such as a methanation reaction, using, in a reactor (1), carbon dioxide and gaseous dihydrogen and at least one solid catalytic compound capable of catalyzing said reaction in a given temperature range T, comprising contacting said gaseous reactant and said catalytic compound in the presence of a heating agent, and heating the heating agent to a temperature within said temperature range T. The method is characterized in that the heating agent comprises a ferromagnetic material in the form of micrometric powder and/or wires, said ferromagnetic material being heated by magnetic induction by means of a field inductor, such as a coil (2) external to the reactor (1).

  • Patent number: 11112443
Abstract: A component sensitive to an electromagnetic field, which includes a first absorbent material, able to partially absorb energy of a given electromagnetic field and converting the absorbed energy into heat. The sensitive component includes a second fluorescent and thermosensitive material, placed in contact with the first material in order to store the heat converted by the first material. The second material is able to re-emit, under the action of a predetermined excitation light, a light by fluorescence with light intensity dependent on the stored heat.

  • Patent number: 9713809
Abstract: A method for the heterogeneous catalysis of a chemical reaction using, in a reactor, at least one reagent and a catalytic composition that can catalyze the reaction within a given range of temperatures T. At least one reagent is brought into contact with the catalytic composition which includes a ferromagnetic nanoparticulate component whose surface is formed at least partially by a compound that is a catalyst for the reaction; the nanoparticulate component is heated by magnetic induction in order to reach a temperature within the range of temperatures T; and the reaction product(s) formed on the surface of the nanoparticulate component are recovered. A catalytic composition includes a ferromagnetic nanoparticulate component that can be heated by magnetic induction to the reaction temperature, whose surface thereof is at least partially formed by a catalyst compound for the reaction. The catalyst is heated by the effect of the magnetic field.
