  • Patent number: 10081127
Abstract: The invention relates to a heating apparatus (H) having at least one heating line (24) for the thermal conditioning of preforms (1) made of thermoplastic material to a temperature profile which is suitable for blow shaping, wherein the heating apparatus (H) comprises a transport device for transporting the preforms (1) along a transport path (T) of the heating apparatus (H), said transport device comprising a revolving conveyor chain (F) having a plurality of pivotably interconnected chain links (33), and wherein the transport device comprises handling means (39) for holding and manipulating a single preform (1) each, wherein the transport device is embodied and configured such that the preforms (1) are guided in a single row in at least a first section of the transport path (T), and are guided in two adjacent rows in at least a second section of the transport path (T), and wherein each chain link (33) comprises a bracket (41) on which a first handling means (39) and a second handling means (39?) are arranged

  • Patent number: 7871259
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for blow-moulding containers from preforms which are previously heated in the region of a heating section and consist of a thermoplastic material. The preforms are transferred to a blowing device following the heating thereof, in which they are shaped to form containers by the application of a blowing pressure inside blow moulds. Said blow moulds respectively consist of at least two blow mould segments. The preforms are transported together with the blow moulds at least along part of a peripheral path of a rotating blow wheel. A separating plane of the blow mould segments is positioned at least in an opened state of the blow station in a rotational direction of the blow wheel, facing forwards, with an angle of inclination in relation to the radial direction of the blow wheel. The blow station is positioned at least in two parts during a transfer process.

  • Patent number: 6770238
Abstract: The method and the device are used for blow forming containers of a thermoplastic material. The preforms that are used are first temperature treated and then shaped into containers in the area of at least one blow station. Moulds to define the container shape are held by mould supports. At least two preforms are simultaneously shaped into containers within each blow station. Positioning of the preforms is done such that the preforms assume a positioning relative to one another when entering the blow station that differs from the positioning during the blow forming process. Spacing of the preforms relative to one another is changed during transport between entry into the blow station and blow positioning. In addition to this first change in spacing, a second change in spacing between adjacent preforms is performed relative to one another.

  • Patent number: 6514448
Abstract: The process is used for tempering preforms made of a thermoplastic material; the preforms are to be blow molded. The preforms are provided with a temperature profile along a circumference. The temperature profile is generated by differentially heating strip-shaped regions, which extend in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the preform. A step-by-step tempering for the purpose of temporally sequential thermal conditioning of different regions of the preform is carried out with movement phases and rest phases. A carrier device is rotated by the interactions of a gear and a matching gear for initiating rotational movements. The preform is moved, motionless with regard to the rotational direction, through the tempering zone at least along a portion of the transport path before the start of the engagement of the gear with the matching gear.
