Abstract: An improved, multifunction office furniture system having a novel interlocking connecting mechanism which permits the easy assembly of a variety of different structural components in a variety of different configurations to form highly efficient work areas. The system includes uniquely configured, vertical support columns to which a number of different types of structural components can be quickly and easily connected and provides a highly versatile work station system which is very attractive, is easy to assembly, disassemble and adjust, and yet, is structurally sound and durable in use. Because of its novel construction, the system is capable of readily accommodating changing work conditions in the users' facilities.

Abstract: A chair construction having a molded plastic shell that is interconnected with a tubular supporting structure in a manner that simplifies the manufacture of the chair and at the same time produces a durable construction that can withstand continuous, normal classroom type use. The supporting structure includes specially formed rear legs, the upper portions of which are interconnected with the back support of the molded plastic shell using a specially designed tube end connector mechanism. More particularly, the molded plastic shell includes integrally molded connector tabs to which the rear legs of the supporting frame of the chair are connected by means of the connector mechanism.

Abstract: A simple, reliable and inexpensively manufactured sunshade for attachment to the interior surfaces of an automotive window is devised by providing a pair of ribs which are adhesively attached to the interior surface of the window. Each rib has a plurality of ring-shaped louver fixtures attached to the rib and aligned such that the pluarlity of ring-shaped fixtures attached to one rib substantially lie in a plane parallel to the longitudinal axis of the rib. The pair of ribs are aligned so that each ring-shaped fixture has its axis of symmetry approximately aligned with a corresponding ring-shaped fixture on the opposing rib. Elongated, resilient louvers are disposed through the aligned ring-shaped fixtures by the user so that the louvers are held by a pair of ring-shaped fixtures in a substantially parallel plane, perpendicular to the elongated axis of the ribs.
