  • Publication number: 20230106007
Abstract: A drive unit for an electrical power-assisted steering system of a motor vehicle may include an electric motor with a stator housing to which a control housing, in which a control circuit board is arranged, is attached, and with a connecting unit, attached to the stator housing, which has electrical connecting elements and at least one positioning element. The connecting elements are electrically connected to the electric motor and to the control circuit board. The positioning element interacts with the control circuit board for the purpose of relative positioning. To enable simpler and more secure mounting, the positioning element interacts with the control housing for the purpose of relative positioning.

  • Publication number: 20170328737
Abstract: A transducer assembly for a torque and/or angle sensor may comprise a pipe section-shaped magnet ring that is secured to a carrier sleeve via an intermediate element. The intermediate element and the magnet ring may be integrally bonded to one another via joining surfaces directed against one another. The intermediate element may be formed of a plastic at least in a region of its joining surface. To provide a transducer assembly that can be more easily produced and assembled with high reliability, the magnet ring may be formed as a plastic-bonded magnet from a plastic material filled with magnetic particles, which is integrally bonded to the plastic of the intermediate element.

  • Patent number: 9102349
Abstract: A steering system is provided with an uninterruptible mechanical positive coupling between a steering wheel and a pinion in the form of a steering shaft and with an electrical auxiliary power assistance, in which an electric motor introduces its assistance power into the steering system via a reduction gear mechanism. A switchable magnetic brake is provided, which in a closed switching state blocks the motor shaft of the electric motor frictionally in relation to a motor housing fixed to the vehicle body, and which in an open switching state releases the motor shaft so that this can rotate in a fixed transmission ratio with the steering shaft.
