Publication number: 20180293533Abstract: Managed Inter Application Communications and Relationships (MIAC) is a system for business process automation that uses recognised standard application programming interfaces (API), data base schema mapping and raw data to collect, translate and transfer data to facilitate processes that incorporate data transfers, communications, event creations, alerts and physical inputs to build an end-to-end work flow where all actions and communications are recorded for audit and automated feedback response cycles. The system allows for an incremental build of a matrix computer network where all connected systems are separated but communicate in an intelligent rule and workflow driven process, controlled and influenced by the human workforce.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 11, 2016Publication date: October 11, 2018Inventors: Peter LOWRY, Jeff BUTTERWORTH, John LOWRY, Julian SMITH

Publication number: 20070113330Abstract: A control system for a flush toilet includes a water delivery device for delivering a source of flush water to a bowl. The control system includes a controller and a user interface. The controller is operative to control the toilet through a flush sequence in a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, the controller opens the water delivery device to deliver a predetermined amount of water to the bowl. In the second mode, the controller opens the water delivery device to deliver a user adjustable amount of water to the bowl. The user interface is in communication with the controller for selecting between the first mode and the second mode. Where the toilet is a macerator toilet, the controller monitors current draw unit when the current draw satisfies a predetermined current condition. The controller may operate in a normal mode and a lockout mode.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 18, 2006Publication date: May 24, 2007Inventors: James MILLER, Rick Danks, Julian Smith, Daniel Delaney, George Grech, Forrest Butterwick

Patent number: 6875802Abstract: Disclosed are compositions and processes for preparing polymeric materials having polymerizable units derived from at least one C8 to C30 alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer, and at least one chain branching unit. The presence of the chain branching unit suprisingly results in the polymeric composition having non-gelled polymer chains. The polymeric compositions are useful as additives for improving the melt strength of thermoplastic resins.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 2002Date of Patent: April 5, 2005Assignee: Rohm and Haas CompanyInventors: Carlos Alfonso Cruz, Eugene Patrick Dougherty, Harry Richards Herman, III, Robert Julian Smith, Morris Christopher Wills, Robert Victor Slone

Patent number: 6034596Abstract: A system for displaying dynamic readings of a motor vehicle's tire pressure, temperature and tire ride efficiency comprises individual integrated units that are removably attached to each valve stem. Each unit comprises a pressure sensor and a temperature sensor coupled to a microcontroller which activates a transmitter/receiver set with a measured signal. The signal is received by a transmitter/receiver set in a passenger compartment mounted display which feeds a signal through a microcontroller to the display unit. In operation, theft prevention serial numbers of the remote sensors are entered in the display unit. Each individual sensor may then be queried sequentially with the appropriate serial number to provide a pressure and temperature reading for a particular tire as well as battery condition. The readings and warning signals are activated in the display unit.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 1998Date of Patent: March 7, 2000Inventors: Julian Smith, Steven Holmbraker, William Campbell, III, Arlin Bartlett
