  • Publication number: 20240069948
Abstract: Mapping of applications by the most common file path in which they are installed or found to be running. Embodiments of the disclosure may determine the most commonly occurring hash values appearing in events generated by a virtualized network. These most commonly occurring hash values may correspond to the hash values of file paths associated with the greatest number of detected events. The database may then be queried to determine the most commonly occurring file path for each of these hash values. A table of such most commonly occurring file paths and their associated hash values may then be compiled and stored. Use of the most commonly occurring file path in lieu of an alert's actual file path may prevent undesired or malicious processes from going undetected by simply adopting a new file path that has yet to be recognized as being associated with undesired behavior.

  • Publication number: 20240020381
Abstract: An example method of classifying alerts generated by endpoints in a virtualized computing system includes: receiving, at an alert processing engine executing in the virtualized computing system, a stream of the alerts generated by security agents executing in the endpoints; extracting fields from the alerts at the alert processing engine; computing, at the alert processing engine, features from the alerts based on the fields; computing, at the alert processing engine, a plurality of model scores for each alert using the features as parametric input to a plurality of models; aggregating, by the alert processing engine, the plurality of model scores into a final score for each alert; and annotating each of the alerts with a respective final score.

  • Publication number: 20160331646
Abstract: A tube for delivering fluid to a remote location not normally in view or not practicably able to be viewed by an operator placing such tubes. The tube comprising a lumen connecting a fluid input aperture, disposed at a proximal end of the tube, and a fluid output aperture, to deliver fluid therebetween. The tube further comprises positioning means having an optical waveguide and sensor means. The optical waveguide extends from the proximal end of the tube to the sensor means. The optical waveguide guides an input optical signal to the sensor means. Positioning of the sensor means in a desired location within a system varies the properties of the input optical signal to provide a predetermined output optical signal, which is guided to the proximal end of the tube to indicate to a user, placement of the predetermined portion of the tube at the desired position within the system.

  • Publication number: 20140130265
Abstract: All-foam mattress assemblies with foam engineered cores having thermoplastic and thermoset materials, and related assemblies and methods are disclosed. All-foam mattress assemblies use foam-based materials, such as thermoplastic and thermoset, to provide cushioning and support characteristics for a user in the sleeping area of a mattress during sleep or rest. The all-foam mattress assemblies may include foam comfort layer(s), foam transitional layer(s), and a foam engineered core. The all-foam engineered core may lessen a density of a mattress assembly by comprising thermoset member(s), and engineered geometric thermoplastic material profile(s) adjacent to the thermoset member(s). The engineered geometric thermoplastic material profile(s) may be disposed in a parallel or substantially parallel arrangement.

  • Patent number: 8591796
Abstract: In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, methods for molding and curing of composite articles are provided. In one embodiment, the method includes providing a molding apparatus including an elastic layer disposed on a rigid support and a mold disposed on the elastic layer and the support. In one embodiment, the mold includes an inner surface, the inner surface further including a molding surface, and wherein a first surface of the elastic layer and the inner surface of the mold define a molding chamber. In one embodiment, a prepreg is further disposed within the molding chamber, wherein the prepreg is disposed on the first surface of the elastic layer. In one embodiment, the method includes providing a fluid via a fluid inlet against a second surface of the elastic layer, thereby expanding the elastic layer against the inner surface of the mold, and pushing the prepreg against the molding surface of the mold to form a molded composite article.
