Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for prioritizing user reactions to content on a social-media platform. The systems and methods receive, from a channel administrator, weighting preferences used to determine weights assigned to user reactions and receive reaction data associated with content. The reaction data represents user reactions to the content. The systems and methods generate a sentiment metric associated with reaction data and representing the degree to which a user reaction is positive or negative, and generate a weight associated with reaction data based on the sentiment metric and weighting preferences. The systems and methods prioritize the user reaction with respect to other user reactions to the associated content based on the weight and provide an interface for responding to the user reaction.
