  • Patent number: 8568468
Abstract: The present embodiments provide a stent-graft for use in a medical procedure that includes a graft having at least first and second reinforced holes disposed in the graft. The first and second reinforced holes may include first and second grommets. In one embodiment, a first stent may be coupled to the graft using at least one suture disposed through the first and second grommets. Alternatively, a first stent may be coupled to the graft, such that the first stent itself is disposed through the first and second grommets. The grommets may include self-sealing properties to reduce leakage around the sutures and/or stent segments that are disposed through the grommets.
